After bidding farewell to Principal Chow and his group, Osvaldo brought Selena to the laboratory. Hamish led them to the laboratory door, and through the transparent glass door, they saw three medical fanatics who were tirelessly researching the vaccine.
Selena's gaze swept over Black Crow and White Crow and finally settled on Joanna. Joanna was Callum's senior sister. Selena hadn't forgotten that Principal Chow had mentioned that Joanna used to be different from what she is now. With the courage and strength to compete with Callum for the first medical position in H Country, how confident and arrogant would she have been back then? What kind of experience could completely transform a woman like this?
Selena was curious and asked, "Did Joanna go to Arctic laboratory with my father twenty years ago?"
Osvaldo stood next to Selena, hugging her shoulder, and lowered his eyelids when he heard the question. "Only she came back from the trip to Arctic laboratory."
"All the virus data related to Arctic laboratory that still exist in H Country were brought back by her," he continued.
Selena's eyelashes trembled, and she remained silent for a long time.
Leia stood behind the two of them and couldn't quite understand what Selena and Osvaldo were talking about, but she could tell that Selena wanted to see her master.
Leia walked over to the door, leaned against it, and shouted, "Master, Madam Selena wants to see you."
Joanna was looking at data under a microscope when she heard the shout. She turned her head and glanced at the door. With a dissatisfied expression, she took off her white gloves and twisted her waist as she walked out.
Even though she was wearing a white coat, she couldn't hide her seductive charm.
Joanna walked out of the door, lit a cigarette, and looked at the beautiful young couple in front of her with slightly narrowed eyes. "If it's not something important, you're dead!" Everyone knew that researchers had a bad temper, and they especially disliked being interrupted in the middle of their work.
Leia timidly stuck out her tongue and hid behind Selena.
Selena looked at Joanna's beautiful eyes and said, "My uncle returned to the Turner family this morning."
Joanna paused, holding her fingers around the cigarette, and then smirked. "Capital is in for a treat now..."
"So," Selena paused and stared at Joanna, "Do you know where my father is?"
Joanna took a puff of her cigarette and gave Selena a sly glance. Selena met her gaze calmly without flinching.
Joanna had been to Arctic laboratory, which meant she knew about the existence of the "Light of God" a long time ago.
Her abnormality, combined with the sudden appearance of black and white crows, was enough to arouse suspicion about her identity. Selena remained calm and collected, realizing that there were many people who knew her secret without her even realizing it. Capital was truly a place where secrets were impossible to keep.
Joanna looked at Selena and furrowed her brows, as if she had been thinking hard for a moment before finally saying, "I don't know. I haven't seen him since I came back from Arctic laboratory." She flicked the cigarette ash and spoke in an even tone, "But they say that disasters last a thousand years, especially for super-disasters like your father. He probably won't die anytime soon. Just wait patiently, maybe he'll come back soon."
Selena's eyes darkened. Julian, who had heard the commotion, walked out of the door and exchanged a nod with Osvaldo, who was standing by the door. Julian's eyes quickly flickered with something strange when he saw Osvaldo. He looked at Selena and smiled slightly, "What's up?"
Selena's gaze fell on Julian's face, "I have something to tell you and Black Crow."

The readers' comments on the novel: Revenge On Love Rats After Rebirth by Olivia Marsh
From the beginning of the story to page 148, the plot is just going in circles about fighting. So ridiculous and waste of time to read! I have no patience for these kind stories. Be more creative if you’re planning to write a book/story!!!...
Beautiful story...
