A hand gently pushed open the door in front of them.
The assistant guarding the door walked in, followed by someone else.
The person was somewhere between adolescence and young adulthood, with a clean white shirt and dark long pants that made his figure look extremely pleasing.
He raised his ink-black eyes and looked at the man behind the desk with a clear and indifferent expression.
"Dante is here," he said.
There was no response.
The assistant wisely retreated.
The young man stood silently in the middle of the room, his expression indifferent as if he were wandering outside of the mortal realm.
After a while, the man sitting behind the desk tossed the scroll in his hand aside and raised his eyelids.
The dark eyes of the young man flickered, and he called out softly, "Brother."
Osvaldo remained silent.
The young man stared quietly into his eyes and said, "Give her back to me."
Osvaldo's handsome face remained unchanged.
The young man's eyes showed a hint of stubbornness. "I'll trade myself for her, and from now on, my life belongs to her."
He referred to was Selena.
Osvaldo sneered and his tone remained indifferent. "Bring her in."
The sound of footsteps leaving the room could be heard outside the door. After a while, the door was pushed open again.
Constance was brought in and thrown into the middle of the room.
In just a short day, Constance had changed completely. Her face was pale, her eyes were bloodshot, and she muttered something to herself. She seemed to be mentally disturbed.
The young man's gaze softened when he saw Constance. His expressionless face melted like ice meeting fire.
He crouched down to help her up. "Constance..."
But Constance screamed out loud, her voice full of hysterical fear. "Ahhh!"
The young man's face turned pale with alarm, and he hurriedly hugged her. "Constance!"
After being held by the man for a long time, Constance gradually regained some clarity in her frenzied gaze.
When she saw the person in front of her clearly, Constance trembled and grabbed his hand, tears streaming down her face. "Dante, save me! Save me!!"
Dante looked at her pale and haggard face, closed his eyes, and turned to Osvaldo. "Brother."
Osvaldo walked up to them at some point, his cold gaze looking down on them from above.
As soon as Constance felt the murderous intent in his eyes, she trembled and hid in Dante's arms, not daring to lift her head.
"You're willing to risk yourself for this woman? Does it worthy?" Osvaldo asked indifferently.
"Without her, I would have died a long time ago," Dante replied, his eyes fixed on Osvaldo. "It's not up to you to decide whether it's worth it or not, only I can decide that," Dante said, meeting Osvaldo's gaze with rare determination.
Osvaldo's eyes turned icy as he said, "This is the last time."

The readers' comments on the novel: Revenge On Love Rats After Rebirth by Olivia Marsh
From the beginning of the story to page 148, the plot is just going in circles about fighting. So ridiculous and waste of time to read! I have no patience for these kind stories. Be more creative if you’re planning to write a book/story!!!...
Beautiful story...
