Only Alfie seemed to have figured something out, his eyes turning unusually cold.

Osvaldo kissed Selena's hair gently and looked at Alfie, sneering, "Come in."

More than a dozen employees of a certain brand's bridal shop walked in one by one, all dressed the same with a smile on their faces, each holding a model dummy.

The dummies wore dresses of various colors, ranging from wedding dresses to traditional Chinese bridal gowns.

But Alfie never looked at her once, only staring at Osvaldo. If one looked closely, they would notice that his hand was tightly clenched under his long sleeves.

"These are the wedding gifts that Selena and I give to both of you. We wish you both a happy marriage and hope that you will cherish the gift that Selena has worked so hard to achieve."

Aurelia stood trembling in place, feeling humiliated as never before.

Nicholas was also ashamed and angry. He glared at Alfie before turning to leave with his cane.

Alfie's face remained expressionless as he stared at Osvaldo, his eyes filled with a chilling anger.

Osvaldo leaned close to Selena's ear and whispered, "Are you jealous, Selena?"

Selena, who had been staring blankly at the gowns, shook her head unconsciously. "No..."

She had given Lady Lauren's bridal gown, which had been prepared for her, to Aurelia on her own initiative. She had not thought much of it at the time, but now, hearing Osvaldo's words, she felt inexplicably guilty.

Osvaldo looked at her tenderly and seriously. "I will give you the best."

Nicholas met the pair of eyes filled with malicious intent and suddenly realized it was not good. He subconsciously wanted to retreat behind the crowd.

As Nicholas stepped back, Osvaldo suddenly grabbed Selena by the back of her head and turned her face towards him, leaning in to kiss her. With his other hand, he picked up a steel fork from the table and threw it straight towards Nicholas' eyes.

The steel fork gleamed with a cold light and flew straight through the air. Just as it was about to pierce Nicholas' eyes, a pair of hands reached out next to him, grabbed his sleeve, and pulled him hard.

Nicholas' body tilted to the side and the fork brushed past his ear, flying straight into the wall behind him and making a buzzing vibration sound.

Half of Nicholas' body fell to the ground, gasping for air while holding his cane, staring at Osvaldo with a dark and ferocious gaze. If it weren't for Alfie pulling him away at the critical moment, he would have at least lost one eye.

Osvaldo let go of Selena, but still did not allow her to turn around. He looked at her tenderly, but his words were directed at others.
