Selena stared at the side profile of she for a moment before speaking up. "Leia, go get us two cups of milk tea," she said.
Leia went to get the milk tea.
Selena sat down beside Hattie and said, "Hattie."
Hattie snapped out of her thoughts and turned to look at Selena. She hesitated before speaking up. "Selena, I want to..."
Selena looked into the girl's eyes and asked, "What do you want to do, Hattie?"
Gathering all her courage, Hattie said, "I want to avenge my mother!"
Selena had already guessed as much and showed no surprise on her face. She knew that Leon and herself had been protecting Hattie too closely, and Manny hadn't had a chance to make a move on her.
On the other hand, she had been unable to find any evidence of Manny's involvement in her mother's murder.
Manny hated all the girls in the Riddle family equally and preferred to torture them rather than kill them outright.
"Have you seen the complete evidence when you were in the detention center, Hattie?" Selena asked, looking straight into the girl's eyes.
Hattie's slender body stiffened, her face turning pale and frightened.
She suddenly threw herself into Selena's arms and hugged her tightly. "Selena, please believe me. I won't let them use and control me again! I will definitely avenge my mother!"
Selena gently stroked the girl's hair and smiled lightly. "If that's what you want to do, then go and do it bravely. But remember not to lose yourself and live well."
Hattie nodded heavily in Selena's arms, her voice choked with sobs. "I will definitely live on!"
Leia soon returned with the milk tea. Selena handed a cup to Hattie and watched as the girl took it and turned away, determined to do what she had to do.
Leia looked at her little apprentice's back in confusion and asked, "Madam Selena, where is Miss Hattie going?"
"Home."
"But the Riddle family is in so much danger now..."
"Hattie wants to find evidence and avenge her mother."
Leia panicked, "Madam Selena, it's too dangerous. Miss Hattie is only thirteen years old, she's just a child..."
Selena looked at Hattie's thin and delicate back, as if she saw herself at that age, and smiled. "Thirteen... that's enough."
When she was thirteen...
Selena looked up at the blue sky above her. A young eagle flew up from the direction of the rising sun, screeching as it soared higher and farther into the sky.
...
And while everyone was focused on the chaos in the Riddle family, the Soo family, which had been quiet all along, was the first to send out a message.
In the Turner family's hall, Selena looked at the invitation on the table and raised an eyebrow. Patrick poured her a glass of water and asked, "What do you think, Selena?"
Selena's slender fingers tapped the table as she shook her head. "It's too early to say anything now."
Patrick thought for a moment and explained to Selena, "The Riddle family is different from the Soo family. Before the illegitimate child was exposed, Leon was the only legitimate male heir of his generation in the Riddle family. In addition, Miss Riddle was young, and the relationship between the siblings was good. There was no conflict over the succession, so Leon was able to wield power for many years."
"But the Soo family is completely different. Nicholas only cares about his own interests. Even though he's almost eighty years old, he still tightly holds all the power in his hands. This has led to Alfie's father, my uncle, living a mediocre and unhappy life."

The readers' comments on the novel: Revenge On Love Rats After Rebirth by Olivia Marsh
From the beginning of the story to page 148, the plot is just going in circles about fighting. So ridiculous and waste of time to read! I have no patience for these kind stories. Be more creative if you’re planning to write a book/story!!!...
Beautiful story...
