The elevator went all the way up to the top floor and stopped.
As soon as Selena walked out, she ran into Daphne and her group, who were being blocked by several psychiatrists outside the door.
Selena saw Manny and Hunter standing behind Daphne and her expression immediately turned cold.
The psychiatrists looked up and their eyes lit up when they heard Selena's voice.
Dr. Wilkinson walked quickly towards her, "Lady Selena, you've come at just the right time. Come with me to see Miss Hattie!"
Selena frowned and followed the doctor, "How is Hattie doing?"
"Not good!" Dr. Wilkinson's voice was urgent, "Miss Hattie seems to have suffered a great shock. Her condition is very serious this time, and after all this time, there has been no improvement..."
After Daphne had gone to the hospital to see Penelope and the dragon and phoenix twins, and confirmed that the three of them were not in any danger, she went home to rest for a night. It was not until Manny reminded her that she finally remembered to come and see Hattie.
But she didn't expect to be blocked by these doctors when she got here.
What was even more infuriating was that they didn't let her, the grandmother, in, but personally welcomed Selena, that disobedient and unfilial person.
Daphne was extremely angry, so much so that she didn't even hear what the doctor said clearly, and shouted angrily, "Selena, who gave you permission to enter the the Riddle's Company?"
Selena walked past Daphne without even looking at her and walked towards the room with her clothes fluttering in the wind.
Being ignored made Daphne even more angry. She thought of Penelope lying in the hospital bed, looking miserable, and her voice changed slightly as she spoke, "Selena, you release Penelope right now! Penelope wouldn't do such a thing, it's you who are framing her..."
When the people from the Riddle's Company heard that Daphne was still concerned about and defending Penelope at this time, they looked at her with disgust.
The anxious psychiatrists couldn't take it anymore and interrupted her angrily, "Enough! Daphne, Miss Hattie's condition is not good. She needs to be quiet. Please don't disturb her at this time, okay?"
"Daphne, your own granddaughter is lying in there and anything bad could happen at any moment. She's only thirteen years old. If you don't care about her, that's fine, but can you please not disturb us while we try to save her?"
Daphne was met with angry glares from the group and suddenly felt a chill in her heart. Could it be that Hattie was really in trouble?
Before she could even speak up, Hunter shouted angrily, "Who do you think you are, daring to speak to my mother like that? That girl just has mental illness, she's not hurt or in pain, so what's the big deal?"
"If something really happened to her, shouldn't the person who wants to see her the most be me as her father and my grandmother? Why is it just Selena, that wild girl who was raised outside with no manners or upbringing?"
"I think she's been hanging out with that wild girl too much, becoming more and more shameless and unruly, and even using these means to deceive her own father and grandmother!"
Daphne heard her son's words and remembered that mental illness cannot possibly be fatal, feeling a surge of shame and anger in her eyes.
If Hattie is really in critical condition, why can Selena go in and see her while she, Hattie's grandmother who has been taking care of her for over a decade, and her own father cannot?
Abandoning one's own family to see a stranger, how can this be reasonable?
This is clearly Selena and Hattie teaming up to specifically seek revenge and humiliate her!

The readers' comments on the novel: Revenge On Love Rats After Rebirth by Olivia Marsh
From the beginning of the story to page 148, the plot is just going in circles about fighting. So ridiculous and waste of time to read! I have no patience for these kind stories. Be more creative if you’re planning to write a book/story!!!...
Beautiful story...
