Kevin and I agreed to meet at a nearby café. 

“I want to collaborate with you to create a brand–new clothing line.” 

Now that I had some money, I could focus on design, and he could help me with the operations. Once we designed the clothes together, we could produce them and create a brand. Inside the café, soft lighting illuminated Kevin’s face. He looked slightly surprised at first, then excitement danced in his eyes. 

“A collaboration? Creating a clothing brand? That sounds like a fantastic idea!” He leaned forward, clearly intrigued by my proposal. 

I nodded and elaborated on my thoughts. “Yes, I’ve always had a strong interest in fashion design, and you have extensive experience and resources in this industry. I believe if we combine our strengths, we can create something truly unique.” 

Kevin stirred his coffee thoughtfully, considering my words. After a moment, he shared his thoughts, “This is indeed a great opportunity, but we need to plan carefully. First, we need to clarify the brand positioning–are we aiming for high–end custom designs or targeting the mass market? 

“Next, the design style and theme are crucial as they will determine our target customer base. Lastly, operations and marketing will also be essential.” 

I listened attentively to his analysis, agreeing with each point in my mind. Every question he asked was spot on, reflecting the kind of insight and thoroughness I look for in a partner. 

“Regarding brand positioning, I prefer a blend of fashion and practicality, creating trendy and unique clothing. 

“As for design style, I’d like to incorporate elements of both vintage and modern aesthetics to create a distinctive visual. 

“As for operations and marketing, I believe that with your experience and skills, you’ll definitely find the best approach.” 

I shared my thoughts while expressing my full trust in Kevin. 

After hearing me, a satisfied smile spread across his face. “It sounds like you already have a clear vision, which is great. Let’s work toward that direction and build this brand together.” 

We exchanged a smile as if we could already envision the bright future of our brand beckoning us. 

In the hours that followed, we discussed the specifics of our collaboration–from funding and task distribution to brand naming and logo design. We aimed for perfection in every aspect. 

As the night deepened and we stepped out of the café, the streets outside had become empty and quiet. 

“Initially, I just felt we got along well, but now I realize we have a lot in common. I’m sure you’ll achieve great things on this path.” 

He held high expectations for me, and I knew partnering with him was the best decision I could make.
