They rushed back to Seaview City with Tyrone through the night, the highway lights blurring past like they were fleeing for their lives.
Alicia, running on empty, finally gave up on pretending to obey any of the unspoken rules between a sugar baby and her powerful benefactor. She curled up on her seat and drifted into a deep, dreamless sleep.
No one could blame her. She hardly ever flew, was a little prone to airsickness, and besides—Tyrone had left her thoroughly exhausted the night before.
"Is that Tyrone Lynch? The heir of Harboridge City's Lynch family?"
"Yeah, I saw him in a finance magazine once. That Patek Philippe on his wrist is worth over a million dollars…"
A few flight attendants huddled together in the galley, their eyes shining with excitement.
"Who's the woman with him? She's gorgeous. Is she his girlfriend?" one of them whispered, barely able to contain her curiosity.
"I haven't heard anything about him having a girlfriend. He's been a hot topic for a while—can't believe we're seeing him in person!"
They peeked around the corner, unable to take their eyes off Tyrone. Even after serving plenty of handsome actors, none of them came close to Tyrone Lynch's natural air of nobility.
"Let me try first." One of the attendants flashed a confident smile and touched up her makeup in the mirror. She was striking herself: born and raised in Harboridge City, fluent in several languages, and perfectly aware of her own charm.
"Sir, we'll be landing soon. If you—" She approached Tyrone with a gentle reminder, but he merely raised a hand, nodding politely to dismiss her.
Not quite ready to give up, she smiled at him, then pulled out her phone, angling for a chance to exchange contact info.
Tyrone ignored her entirely. Instead, he gently gathered the sleeping Alicia into his arms, holding her close.
The attendant's smile faltered as she caught the message, retreating to attend to the other passengers instead.
She made a point of switching to English as she spoke with them, her smooth, lilting accent drawing curious glances from the first-class cabin.
She wasn't about to let this rare opportunity slip away—after all, how often did someone like her get this close to Tyrone Lynch?
