Jade hurried back to the White estate. As soon as she stepped through the door, she found the patriarch, Reginald, in the middle of berating Brandon.

"I know you're ambitious, but let me make this clear: everything in the White family belongs to Nicole. Don't even think about it," Reginald thundered at him.

"Dad! I'm your son too. For years, I've given everything to help you run this family. Now I'm in trouble, and you're just going to turn your back on me?" Brandon pleaded, desperation in his eyes. "Dad, Tyrone is out of his mind. His sudden attack on us—how is that not disrespecting you?"

Reginald glared at him. "Tyrone's reckless. He doesn't even listen to his own grandfather—you think he'd listen to me? What did you two do to provoke him?"

Jade stepped forward quickly. "Grandpa, we just wanted Tyrone to divorce Alicia and marry Nicole. That's all. Grandpa, we've been by your side all these years. Even if we haven't accomplished much, we've at least been loyal."

Her anxiety was clear; she and Brandon knew Tyrone was out for blood.

Reginald snorted. "Loyal? Did I ever need you to keep me company? You schemed your way back into the White family not out of devotion, but to escape your old lives and enjoy the privileges here! Without me, would you have this status? Would you be running a company at all?"

He stood, his tone icy as he stalked toward the staircase. "Handle your own messes. The White family won't get involved—and don't you dare use the White Corporation's name. If I find out you have, you can pack your bags and get out!"

With that, he let the butler help him up the stairs, leaving Jade and Brandon seething in his wake.

Brandon clenched his jaw, muttering under his breath, "The old bastard… Nicole's the only reason we found him anyway. Once Nicole marries Tyrone and he makes her the official heir in front of everyone, Reginald will have outlived his usefulness. He'll be as good as dead."

Jade balled her fists in frustration. "Dad, are we just going to let this go? We spent years building the company—are we really going to let Tyrone destroy everything?"

"What choice do we have? With the way things stand, do you really think we can afford to cross Tyrone?" Brandon snapped. "You were too reckless with this whole thing."

"I just wanted Tyrone to divorce Alicia and marry Nicole as soon as possible," Jade said, hanging her head.

"Don't rush. Sooner or later, the White Corporation will be ours," Brandon replied, teeth gritted.
