Rich Radiant and Over Him (Alicia and Vincent) novel Chapter 167

“Maddox, I don’t care either way—it’s your great-grandchild she’s carrying, not mine,” Franklin said, his tone deliberately ominous. “But I have to say… when low blood sugar gets bad, it can be fatal, especially for a pregnant woman.”

A small crowd had gathered around them, including Franklin’s assistant, who suddenly shouted, “What kind of grandfather does this? His granddaughter-in-law’s suffering from low blood sugar, and he’s still forcing her, a pregnant woman, to give blood? Isn’t this family way too controlling?”

After yelling, the assistant quickly melted back into the crowd.

The onlookers erupted in outrage. “Hey, old man, is this really your granddaughter-in-law? What kind of grandfather acts like this? Even if you want to confirm the pregnancy, do you have to be so ruthless?”

“Some people just don’t treat their daughters-in-law like real people!”

With the crowd closing in, Maddox’s face turned crimson. He lost his composure and slumped into his wheelchair. He was a man who cared deeply about his reputation, and with so many people pointing fingers, he had no choice but to give up—for today.

“I’m not leaving Seaview City anytime soon. You might have dodged me today, but you can’t hide forever,” he huffed, signaling for his assistant to wheel him away.

Nicole stomped her foot angrily. “Alicia, just you wait. I’ll see how long you can keep up this act.”

Mountaincrest City, hotel.

Tyrone stepped out of the hotel and glanced at his assistant. “Did the White family redo the paternity test?”

“Reginald had three new tests done,” the assistant replied with a sigh, “and all of them show that Nicole really is his granddaughter.”

This time, it seemed they’d found the right person.

Tyrone let out a cold chuckle. “Just because they did it three times doesn’t mean Nicole is definitely Reginald’s granddaughter. If anything, it proves the entire White family has already been taken over by Brandon and Jade.”

Nicole was an idiot—she’d do anything Jade said. There was no way she was genuine. “I’ll stay here in Mountaincrest City. You sneak back to Seaview City, get a sample of Nicole’s hair, and take it personally to Harboridge City. Run a paternity test between her and the old man, but don’t let Reginald tell anyone—not his assistant, not the housekeeper, no one.”
