Afraid the dream would vanish if she hesitated, Alicia signed her name in a rush.

"This house… it's really mine?" she asked again, still uncertain.

"Yes, it is." Felix nodded, reassuring her.

Alicia glanced at Wilma, the housekeeper bustling in the kitchen, already plotting how she'd make sure to keep Wilma when it came time for the divorce—and for once, she didn't feel guilty about it.

"If you don't have any other concerns, just sign the contract," Felix continued. "Once Mr. Lynch wraps up his work, he'll return to Seaview City to register the marriage with you." With that, he led Alicia through the walk-in closet and the jewelry room. "During your marriage, all of Mr. Lynch's jewelry and art collections here in Seaview City and Harboridge City are at your disposal. He's quite generous—if you find something you love, you can negotiate to keep it during the divorce."

Felix was already giving her tips on how to get the most out of the arrangement.

Alicia gave an awkward little laugh. She wasn't greedy—truly, she wasn't.

Felix finished the introductions, made sure she had no more questions, and once she'd signed the contract, he took his leave.

He had barely gone when Alicia's phone buzzed. She hadn't even finished exploring the villa before Tyrone's face appeared on her screen in a video call.

"Did Felix explain everything?" The sunlight behind Tyrone was bright, a stark contrast to the gray, overcast day in Seaview City.

Seeing him still made Alicia nervous. "Mr. Lynch…"

"When it's just us, you can call me Tyrone." He smiled, looking surprisingly relaxed. His hair was tousled, and for the first time, he looked his age—maybe even younger.

He really wasn't much older than Alicia, but successful men always seemed to prefer presenting themselves as composed and mature.

"Ty—Tyrone." Alicia stumbled over his name, feeling guilty for addressing her benefactor so informally. "Is there… anything you need me to do?"
