Rich Radiant and Over Him (Alicia and Vincent) novel Chapter 64

Mina's face twisted with anger as she glared at Tyrone. "I'm the eldest daughter of the Holloway family. My future husband is Vincent. Without you, what is she, really?"

She refused to accept it—without Tyrone, Alicia was just an orphan, someone people would trample without a second thought.

Tyrone let out a cold chuckle and turned to Vincent. "I'm not sure what Mr. Lawson's taste is, but a woman who trades marriage for business deals really has no reason to feel superior."

He looked Mina in the eyes. "If you were an orphan with no family or background, you wouldn't even be worth a single strand of Alicia's hair."

Some people just loved using what they had to stomp on what others lacked.

"Tyrone, that's enough." Vincent's expression soured. After all, Mina had always been his childhood sweetheart, the one he put on a pedestal.

"That's too much for you? Let's not pretend you don't know exactly how much the Holloway family gained when she married William—the APAC Managing Director at Bloomridge Group. And you're well aware William had a wife before this, aren't you? Your precious Mina threw herself at him, fully knowing she'd be the other woman, just to secure those profits for her family." Tyrone didn't bother sparing Mina's feelings.

Vincent's face turned even grimmer.

Mina had always manipulated Vincent's guilt over failing to protect her in the past. If he ever found out she'd run headlong into that affair herself, he'd be crushed with disappointment.

Panic flickered across Mina's face. She clung to Vincent's arm, desperate. "Vin… The marriage wasn't my choice. My family forced me into it."

Tyrone just snorted. "Ridiculous." He squeezed Alicia's hand and glanced at his assistant. "There was bullying on campus. I want it handled seriously. I don't care who's involved—hold every last person accountable."

Those words were for Vincent.

He wanted to make it clear that he would see this through himself. If Vincent wanted to help Mira, going after Alicia would get him nowhere.

Mira had already broken down in tears. She looked at Vincent, pleading, terrified. "Vincent… please, you have to help me! I don't want to go to jail!"

Vincent felt a pounding headache coming on, his expression darkening.

He couldn't let Mira go to prison. But with Tyrone on the other side of this, it was going to cost him—maybe more than he wanted to pay.

Rubbing his brow, Vincent looked at Tyrone. "Mr. Lynch, do we really need to be enemies?"

There were ways to come out of this benefiting both sides.

Tyrone didn't bother replying. He just led Alicia away.

"Alicia! You bitch!" Mira was still sobbing, struggling against the officers holding her back. "It's been so long—why are you still hung up on that little thing?!"
