Zavier gritted his teeth.

He liked Thea.

He stood up and left.

She would have to die.

Soon, Maximus’ men walked in with a few cans of gasoline.

“W-We brought them.”

Zavier ordered, “Pour it on her.”

“Understood.”

They nodded. Then, they opened the cans and poured it all on Thea.

Upon detecting the smell of gasoline, she was horror-struck. She cried out, “No… No! Please, I’m begging you. Let me go. Please give me a chance. I’ll repay you for not killing me.”

Maximus was hesitant.

Zavier laughed. Immediately, he ordered, “Take her out and wash her clean. I’ll do it myself.”

Maximus’ face turned pale. He exclaimed, “W-What do you mean by the wife of the Black Dragon? Is that a joke? Isn’t he Thea’s backer? Didn’t he die on the battlefield at Mt. Thunder Pass?”
