The Devouring Demon was greatly displeased. He went through a lot of trouble to create the 12 death spirits. However, James had effortlessly obliterated one of them. He felt incredibly distressed to see it die before him.
However, there was no time for him to grieve. It was important that he figure out how to take out James while minimizing his losses.
Meanwhile, the other competition participants were gathered far away at the border of the formation that encircled the Sky Islands.
Everyone was spectating James’ battle.
After witnessing James’ strength, all of them were astounded.
Out of curiosity, one asked, “A Terra Acmean in their early stage wielding a Light of Acme, and twelve death spirits at the Eternal Boundless Rank. Who in the Greater Realms could stand a chance against such a formidable individual?”
Another creature replied to him, “Probably only the Grand Patriarchs or Patriarchs from the Ten Great Races.”
“Indeed. Among the known powerhouses, there should be about twenty or so that can take him on. The Greater Realm has a storied history, and there may still be powerhouses unknown to us.”
Many creatures began to discuss amongst themselves.
They concluded that only the Ten Great Race’s Grand Patriarchs and Patriarchs could oppose the Devouring Demon. This implied that James’ current strength was equivalent to these 20 or so powerhouses.
James was only a Quasi Acmean and still had much room for improvement. Once he reaches the Permanence Acme Rank or Terra Acme Rank, he would be almost invincible.
Right then, the two were still locked in a stalemate.
After trading a few blows, James and the Devouring Demon did not rush back to battle.
James stared at the Devouring Demon, and then at the 11 death spirits, asking, “If you want the Chaos Sacred Art, I could possibly give it to you. However, how sure are you that you’d cultivate it successfully? It’s the Doom Race’s Supernatural Power. To cultivate it, Chaos Power is required.”
