Wyot remained silent in response to James’ answer. In his philosophy, this was a world of survival of the fittest, where the weak were destined to be dominated by the strong.
“I must stop Teresa’s plan, even if it inconveniences you,” James said.
Wyot’s cultivation base had already been sealed by James, rendering him powerless to prevent anything. Even if it was not sealed, he still would not be able to stop James.
James then utilized the Soul Search Art to enter the deepest recesses of Wyot’s soul, forcibly extracting his memories. Upon learning Wyot’s memories, he found that Wyot had indeed told the truth. His knowledge about Teresa’s plan was limited.
Slowly, James’ appearance transformed into Wyot’s. He had impersonated Wyot before and was intimately familiar with his soul aura. Now, even Wyot’s closest relatives would not be able to discern the difference.
Upon witnessing this, Wyot’s face showed pain. Though the forced soul-searching had brought him intense agony, it was not more painful compared to the pain of James impersonating him.
This was a heartache.
James kept Wyot in a small space within his own body. Once everything was done, he assumed Wyot’s identity and promptly departed from the Dark World.
Previously, he had looked at and memorized the map of the Dark World when he was with Zeno. Other living beings entering here were prone to getting lost, but he would not. Without leaving inscriptions, it was almost impossible to find a way back.
He swiftly departed and traveled to a powerful universe. There, he used the Teleportation Formation to reach the nearest universe to the Chaos District.
There was no Teleportation Formation in the Chaos District, so he had to travel on foot. He continuously employed the Blithe Omniscience to hasten his journey through the Endlos Void.
Soon, he sensed the aura of the Chaos District and without hesitation, he took a step forward to enter it.
