Mount White was within a mountain range in Sol. It was a natural forest with no residents nearby.
At an open field in Mount White...
One after another, more than a dozen helicopters landed.
James was the first to get off the helicopter.
Blake followed closely behind him.
Daniel and the soldiers accompanying him also alighted.
James scanned the surrounding environment.
Mountains completely surrounded them. At a glance, there were densely packed trees and steep mountain peaks. There was no end to the view. James could not help questioning, “So, Mr. Blake, where exactly did you hide them?”
“You’re being too formal, James. You should stick with calling me Blake. You make our relationship sound so distant,” Blake replied humbly. He felt unworthy of being addressed with such high regard since he was more or less like a subordinate.
Blake pointed to the mountain range ahead and said, “It’s under that mountain.”
He paused for a moment and continued, “Back then, I had hidden all this wealth here because I never intended to use them. These treasures were obtained through unclean means and were gained in exchange for other people’s lives.”
James nodded lightly.
Blake still had some conscience. He had hidden the treasures in a mountain where no one would come around because he did not want to use these blood-stained treasures.
James turned around and looked at the soldiers behind him, instructing, “Put on your backpacks and follow closely. We’re setting out.”
“Yes, sir!” A neat and uniform reply resounded.
The group entered the forest and headed toward where the treasures were located.
While James’ party was traveling through the forest, Madelyn, who was in Cansington, received detailed updates about them.
“Ms. Gabriel, James has landed in Mount White. According to reliable sources, Blake hid his life treasures in Mount White a few years ago. They’re on the way to unearth these treasures right now.”
“Oh?”
Madelyn looked at the person reporting to her and asked, “How accurate is this news?”
“A hundred percent.”
