"Ashley is the greatest driver but will never be able to participate in racing competitions. She does all of this for you, Ryan!" Jeremy clenched the stick and swung it hard at Ryan with veins bulging on his right hand!
Ryan still didn't dodge.
Matthew couldn't help but peek through his fingers with his hands covering his eyes. His mouth opened wide in surprise when he saw Jeremy hitting Ryan without hesitation.
Just as the stick was about to hit Ryan's right leg, Jeremy stopped suddenly.
"Jeremy..." Matthew was confused and didn't know what was going on.
Jeremy threw the stick away, looked at Ryan angrily, and rebuked. "Don't use this cheap trick of hurting yourself to make Ashley pay attention to you!"
Matthew suddenly realized Ryan wanted to get Ashley's sympathy with such a cheap trick. 'So scheming,' he thought.
Ryan stood still stiffly as if he didn't hear Jeremy's words and didn't care what Matthew thought.
The only thing he knew was that he had harmed Ashley.
'She is the greatest driver and capable of racing, but she announced her retirement just for my legs.
'She's willing to give up her racing career, pull me out of the abyss of despair, and let me return to the race track I love.
'She sacrificed for me. Why didn't I cherish such a good sister?' Ryan thought.
Ryan raised his head in pain and looked at the dark sky above. The sky was so gloomy, just like his mood at the moment. His tears rolled down uncontrollably again.
Ryan raised his hand to cover his eyes. His voice was hoarse and sounded like his throat was blown by the cold winter wind. "Jeremy, you are right. I did wrong. I owe Ashley one..."
Jeremy looked at his depressed look and didn't know what to say.
Matthew also felt depressed. Ashley hadn't forgiven him yet.
"Ryan! I finally found you. I'm worried about you so much." Suddenly, Jessica ran over anxiously, looking very concerned about Ryan.
Jessica was stunned after seeing Jeremy and Matthew on the side, and she pretended to be surprised and greeted. "Jeremy, Matthew, I haven't seen you for a long time. I miss you every day. How are you doing?"
"Shut up! I'm not your brother." Jeremy snorted in disgust, "Don't call my name. I only have one sister, and she is Ashley."
"Yes." Matthew also felt disgusted. "Look at your face in the mirror. How do you look like our Ramos family? I don't want you to be my sister!"
Jessica's eyes widened in shock when she heard their words.
'How dare Matthew say those words,' she thought.
Although she was not the biological daughter of the Ramos family, she was beautiful. She was not as good-looking as others in the Ramos family, about which she was helpless even though she cared.
She wanted to have plastic surgery, but Bertha didn't agree to do it, considering that it would fail.
Now Jessica was insulted by Matthew. She was irritated, but she had to suppress her anger.
Jessica said, "Jeremy, Matthew, I really miss you. I hope you can return home and bring Ashley back together."
"Nonsense! Don't act like that." Jeremy interrupted her and scolded mercilessly, "You hope Ashley returns to the Ramos family? I'm afraid you are the one who doesn't want her back most!"
Jessica bit her lips and pretended to be pitiful with tears in her eyes. "Jeremy, what are you talking about? What kind of person I am in your eyes?"
"Stop acting!" Jeremy felt disgusted at her expression. "When I got kidnapped, you escaped. Ashley risked her life to rescue me, but you replaced her. You are such a vicious bastard! I must be blind to dote on you before."
The more Jeremy thought about it, the angrier he became. So he slapped Jessica on her face.
She wanted to see Evan and Bertha and let them seek justice for her.
'It's all Ashley's fault for causing me such misery!' she thought.
Seeing Jessica run away, Jeremy, Matthew, and Ryan looked at each other and simultaneously slapped themselves.
Compared to Jessica, they were the ones who deserved to be slapped.
Because of their blindness, they bullied Ashley and didn't cherish such a good sister!
"Is there any news about Frankie?" Ryan suddenly asked.
"No." Jeremy shook his head.
Since Frankie disappeared, he had never contacted them. They didn't know where Frankie was now, what he was doing, or he had suffered something...
Ryan clenched his fists and suddenly made up his mind with a firm look. "I will find a way to make Ashley forgive me."
Matthew snorted, "What method can you take? Let alone asking Ashley for forgiveness, it is even difficult for Jeremy and I to see her."
Ryan lowered his eyes with an unclear expression. "Maybe I can find out where Ashley lives."
Jeremy and Matthew were overjoyed when they heard Ryan's words. "Really?"
If they could know where Ashley lived, they would definitely move there, live next to Ashley, serve her, make up for her, and atone for their sins!
*****
The next day in the morning, after breakfast, Ashley called Lester. They would go to the hospital for the second DNA identification.
