Second Marriage novel Chapter 155

In the room

After all the staff arrived, the supervisor arrived late with Charlotte.

When Charlotte followed the supervisor into the room, everyone cast eyes to her. After several events, all the senior executives knew Charlotte.

If they inquired about her, they would know what happened between Charlotte and Kennedy since she came to the company.

In addition, they had met Charlotte many times in the conference room. Although the president did bother her at the beginning, they were not blind. How could they not understand the ups and downs of people's emotions if they were in the top position?

Last time when Zain came to talk about cooperation, as long as they were not blind, they would be able to see Kennedy’s attitude to her.

But...... he cared and hated her

Otherwise, how could he demote her in front of the whole company?

The supervisor of the department was a man in his forties, thin, with a long face and long eyes and a pointed chin. Wearing glasses, he looked gentle, but his face did not look very good.

"You are late, Arthur! Don't you know the president hates being late?"

When someone reminded him, Arthur's eyes changed and he immediately said, "I don't want to be late. It's just that I haven't sorted out all the materials I need for this meeting yet!"

Hearing this, the crowd was in an uproar.

"What's going on? I told you to sort out the materials yesterday, didn't I? How come it hasn't been finished yet?"

"Yes, the materials of our department were also sent yesterday. What's the matter with you?"

Arthur held back his breath, and then looked at the man in the main position with indifferent face and cold breath -- Kennedy. Suddenly he pulled out Charlotte behind him!

"She messed up all the materials."

Ah? Was it related to her again? They didn't understand, looking at Charlotte who had been pushed out.

Kennedy's face was expressionless. He took a bleak eye at the supervisor’s hand touched Charlotte's slender arm.

She had fair skin and was wearing a sleeveless skirt. When she was tugged by her supervisor, there were red marks on her fair arm.

This woman had delicate and tender skin and did not cover it up.

"She is new in our department. I wanted to see what her ability has, and she asked to sort out the materials for this meeting. She was so confident that I agreed to let her do it, but she failed to do so. Mr. Kennedy, sorry, I didn’t teach her well!"

He said it was Charlotte’s fault and then said it was his mistake that he did not teach her well. How hypocritical.

As the words fell for a long time, no one said a word for they did not know what they should say and did not know what was in the president’s mind.

Charlotte was calm, carrying her bag. Her beautiful face was expressionless.

She didn’t seem to be worried about the situation at all.

"You did not teach her well." Suddenly, a soft but stern voice rang out.

A man in a white shirt stood up and his calm eyes fell on Arthur's face.

Arthur immediately felt a power pressure, involuntarily bent down his waist, "Mr. Manfred."

Manfred’s voice was smooth, “You said she is a newcomer, and this project materials is very important and you know it is for the meeting. Even if you want to see what she's capable of, you need to find a replacement to avoid such a thing happen, but you blindly entrusted something to a new comer. Now there is a failure, you blamed on others. Arthur, are you not comfortable enough in this position?"

What he said was justified. Arthur was pale on face. He suddenly realized what he had done and looked at Manfred with fear, but the man on the main seat did not pay attention to it and seemed that he was indifferent about this matter.
