Second Marriage novel Chapter 175

When arrived by the car, Diana put Kennedy up, and then did not get off again. Charlotte stood in situ angrily. At this moment, a car stopped in front of her. When the window was rolled down, she saw Manfred.

“Are you going to the company? I can drop you off.” The coldness in Manfred’s eyes had disappeared. He was still gentle and polite.

Charlotte subconsciously looked toward Kennedy and found Diana bent over to arrange something for him, and Kennedy seemed to looked toward her intentionally, but he withdrew his vision as if he didn’t care.

“Charlotte, come here quickly.” Diana looked back and wave toward her.

Charlotte, “...No need.”

Inexplicably, Charlotte refused her, and then before they had response, she pulled open Manfred’s car door and sat in.

“Please give me a ride, drive.”

Through the rearview mirror, Manfred had a look and nodded, “Ok.”

The car drove away, but the car behind did not move.

Nathan sat in front, looked at Diana who sat behind and said, “Miss Nelson, why don’t you ask Mrs. Moore to get in the car?”

Hearing that, Diana was wronged, “I called her, but she doesn't want to come.”

Diana showed a face of regret, “She seems to have a good relationship with Manfred, otherwise I would like to get off to take her here personally.”

Nathan wrinkled eyebrows and took a more look at Diana after hearing that.

Wasn't this woman Charlotte's good friend? But why did he feel she wanted to steal her man?

Since she had showed up, Nathan had been a faint sense of this hunch, and now this feeling became stronger.

“If you don’t get in Mr. Kennedy’s car, probably Mrs. Moore would have a place to sit.” Nathan could not help but accuse her.

Diana's face suddenly became pale.

“Well, it seems to be my fault, then. I didn't think so much, Mr. Kennedy... Excuse me, I'm getting off now!”

With that, Diana was to get off.

“No.”

Kennedy stopped her and put on a cold face, “Drive.”

Nathan, “But Mr. Kennedy...”

Kennedy snorted, “When you can decide?”

Nathan, “Ok!”

He bit teeth and took a look at Diana.

This woman must have an evil heart!

And she pretended to be pathetic!

He had to find a chance to remind Charlotte that silly woman lest her husband was stolen.

The car was moving forward slowly. Manfred turned on the music in the car, and it was an old European ballad playing. The female voice was clear but slow, which brought people’s mind in that old song

“Are you unhappy?” Asked Manfred suddenly.

Charlotte, “What?”

“You're jealous when you see him with another woman.”

Manfred said directly.

But Charlotte’s face changed.

“Manfred, don’t talk nonsense. Diana is my friend, she won’t have feeling for him!”
