Second Marriage novel Chapter 233

Charlotte was stunned and then nodded. She waited for Annie to pack up and went home with her.

Out of the hospital, the night outside had been brightly lit by city lights and neon lights. The wind was blowing. Charlotte felt cold, subconsciously shrank her neck and embraced her arm.

“If you feel cold, put on the suit. Wait here for me, I will get the car.”

“Ok, Aunt.” Charlotte now called her aunt now.

She waited at the gate of the hospital. It was autumn, the wind at night was really cold. She put on the suit of Kennedy.

His suit was so large that it hung over her like a big cloak, keeping out the wind.

Charlotte bowed her head to smell, the suit had exclusive taste of Kennedy, cold and clear, like the smell of tobacco.

Thinking of this, Charlotte blinked her eyes and unconsciously pulled they suit tighter. After waiting for about two minutes, Annie drove out and stopped in front of her. Charlotte pulled open the door and sat in.

“Fasten your seat belt.” Annie reminded and then drove.

As the car pulled into the driveway, Charlotte looked at the neon lights on the street and suddenly heard Annie asking herself, “How did you get injured today? What happened between you and Kennedy?”

“The sound insulation is not good. You would have been awake and you would have heard our conversation.” Annie did not wait for her answer and added.

Hearing that, Charlotte was stunned for a while and her ears and face began to feel hot.

The insight of Annie was so strong, and she even knew about that. How about Kennedy? Did he know what his aunt could have guessed?

“Tell me, do you really want to live with Kennedy?”

What would she say? Charlotte pulled her lips and whispered, “Aunt, I know...You're a very nice person, but... Feelings could not be forced. It is complicated between Kennedy and I. Besides... it was not me should marry him.”

“Nathan told me all about you. You marred for your sister. Because the Shaw family thought that it was a pit of fire to marry their daughter to Kennedy because he is a cripple. There would be no hope if their daughter marries into the Moore family.”

She was right. Charlotte had no words to refute, so she could only silently hang her eyes.

“I told Kennedy that, because he is disabled, and you are willing to marry her, you are a good girl even if you married him for your sister. You are good to Kennedy, can I ask you a question?”

Hearing that, Charlotte looked at Annie, “What is it?”

“Do you like Kennedy?”

Charlotte, “......”

Annie smiled, “Too straightforward? Let's put it another way, how do you think about this marriage? Although it was a trade marriage at the beginning, most of the trade marriages have real feelings later. After a few months getting along with him, how do you feel?”

Charlotte, “...I......” She still did not know how to answer. Even if Diana asked her, she did not know how to say, not to mention Annie was an elder.

“You seem to be struggling.” Annie shook her head, “It seems that you still need time.”
