Second Marriage novel Chapter 516

Close?

She was indeed close to Jack when they were on talk.

No, that was supposed to be intimate.

He was her son, sure she was intimate to him.

Seeing that her face went pale, Kennedy knew he was right. It was quiet at night in the hospital, so Kennedy could clearly hear that it was a child's voice when they were talking.

Pursing his thin lips, he fixed his eyes on her face.

“Who is it?”

He said coldly as if he was questioning her.

Alice was stunned before she said, “With that you questioned me?”

Kennedy froze, “With what?”

“Yes, with what?” since it had been said, she got her courage and sneered, “What does it matter to you who I am calling to? I brought you food in the middle of the night, and you think I am your full-time babysitter, and I have to do whatever you want? This is my private life. I don't have to report it to you.”

With that, Alice pushed him to the side, and then strode out of the bathroom.

Hearing that, Kennedy gave a black face.

Seeing that she was out, he turned and followed her.

“Who was that kid in the restaurant last time?”

Alice immediately stopped her pace.

She turned paler on face and had no reaction as if she got blow on the back of head.

She only had one thought in mind.

He saw Jack?

He saw him the last time they were in the restaurant?

So why had he been so quiet all this time?

If he saw Jack, why didn't he expose her? Was he waiting for a chance?

At this thought, Alice felt cold from her feet. She did not turn back but bit her lower lip hard.

Kennedy looked at her back with a cold face.

“Is he your son?”

Alice, “...”

“Is he?”

Alice, “...”

“Who is the father?” Staring at the back of her head, he grew gradually cold in eyes.

The temperature around cooled down. Alice was stunned and then she turned back and looked at Kennedy.

Why did he ask such a question? If he saw Jack, wouldn't he think he...

Why asked her now?

Was it tentative or he had other motives?

Alice was stunned, but it angered Kennedy. He stepped forward and got her shoulder, said gnashing teeth, “I am asking you.”

She didn't know.

Her mind was in a mess.
