Charles couldn't believe what he was hearing. He was very shocked.

"Why would you do that?’

"Because-/ Aurora's voice trailed off as she regarded Charles' expression for a moment. "What? I thought you would like it. Don't you?’

Charles' face fell. "I don't like this at all. I mean do you even know how dangerous working with Hercules is? It's very dangerous.’

Emma and Benjamin were beside her and rubbing her sweaty palms.

But Avery wasn't so sure. She was so scared. It was finally the day that she would enter the surgery room for the correction of her sight.

Though, the doctor said he wasn't sure if more harm would be done. And he didn't know if the sight could really be restored. The result of the operation was not known.

This was why Avery was very scared. She didn't know if she was supposed to leave the issue and battle with lost sight for the rest of her life.

"The doctor said you will be fine. The success of the surgery is 80 percent/ she assured.

Avery released a sigh. "I overheard what you and Dad discussed," she said suddenly.
