Third Person POV
Daisy Baldwin stood outside the Cash manor, her red corvette running as she waited for Ethan. Her blond curls glistened under the moonlight; her features illuminated. Her pink overcoat hugging her figure perfectly. Working with Ethan was never a thing she had planned, but he sought her out one evening knowing that she wanted Gavin for herself, just as he wanted Judy.
They became partners in trying to break them up.
The moment she saw Ethan emerging from the manor with his luggage in hand, she pressed her lips in a thin line and folded her arms across her chest.
“There better be a good explanation why I’m picking you up so late at night and why you have luggage. If you think for a second you are staying with me—” she started to say, but he held up his hand to silence her.
He walked over to the trunk of her car and threw his luggage inside before making his way to the driver’s seat. Her mouth fell open as she scrambled to chase after him.
“What the hell do you think you are doing!” She screeched. “That’s my car!”
“Get in,” he said, not leaving her any room for argument.
She stared at him dumbfounded, he put the car in drive, his eyes blazing as he stared at her.
“I said get in!” He growled again.
She quickly ran around the car and got into the passenger seat. Before she could even close the door, he was peeling away.
“What the hell is going on Ethan?” She asked, her heart racing as she held onto the seat. Ethan drove through the street, weaving through traffic, and it made her shake with nerves.
“We are leaving,” he tells her with finality. “There’s somewhere we need to be.”
“Want to enlighten me?” She asked, folding her arms across her chest once the road clears and there’s no more traffic.”
He smirks.
“Trust me,” he murmured. “You’re going to like this.”

Chapter 340 It seems that the author has not finished this story. She did this post about it last spring or summer....
Ch.-22. She needs to get a backbone. She should've screamed for her Mom when he was assaulting her and when he answered his phone with Irene on the phone, she should've screamed out "Ethan get out of my room, your engaged "!!...
Ch.17-I hope Gavin is secretly doing something to expose Ethan to Irene because if not, he's not looking like a very, good father to allow Ethan to date his daughter while knowing that Ethan's flat out lying and keeping stuff from Irene. Also, does Irene not know that he was mated before? I mean, Judy keeps mentioning that her mark on her neck is still there and will be until Ethan marks another. Does he not have a mark? If he does what did he tell Irene? Maybe I'll get my answers soon. So far I have enjoyed reading this novel....

these updates always have only half of the original chapters. Its quite frustrating coz I always have to go find the rest of the chapter on one of the reading apps. For instance, this chapter doesnt show the part at the end where "Tabby tells Judy that she always found Sammy weird during the competition, always disappearing for weird phonecalls, how she's in contact with all Gavin's enemies. How the 3 of them decided to investigate her and found tham Sammy's home life has wiped out on all platforms and had lied about a boyfriend that does not exist." Thats so much important parts of the book that we just miss out on...
