Gavin’s POV
I turned to glare at Daisy.
“What the hell are you doing here, Daisy?” I asked, my tone gruff and annoyed. I was still confused about my interaction with Judy and not in the mood to deal with Daisy right now.
She frowned at me, folding her arms across her chest as she narrowed her eyes.
“I thought we had a nice time last night. I wanted to see if we could watch the competition together?” She asked, a bit taken aback by my harsh and aggravated tone.
“I’m watching it with the other Lycans,” I said, my eyes narrowed. “Last night was only dinner. There wasn’t anything more to it. Don’t overthink it.”
I started to walk away, but she grabbed my arm, making my wolf snarl from her touch. She quickly pulled her hand back, her eyes wide as she stared into my eyes.
“You never used to be like this before,” she said, folding her arms across her chest.
“A lot has changed,” I told her. “I’m not going to continue entertaining you.”
With that, I turned and walked back towards the arena. As I stepped outside, my eyes immediately found Judy who was with her friend Tabby. She looked upset and Tabby was watching her warily. My chest tightened; she wasn’t focused, so she could lose this competition. She was also stubborn, so she wasn’t going to surrender easily. It meant that there was a good chance she could get hurt during this final competition… or worse.
I just wish I knew why she was so pissed off about me having dinner with Daisy. It’s not like anything happened between us. It’s not like I brought Daisy back to the room and fucked her and then immediately went to Judy and fuck her. I wouldn’t do something that gross. My relationship with Daisy wasn’t her concern, but if it directly impacted her in any way, of course I would have told her sooner.
She was the only one I was sleeping with; the only one I cared to sleep with right now. My wolf agreed with my inner monologue; she was the only one he would allow to touch us without growling. That’s only happened twice in my life; once with my late wife, and the other with someone I’d spent a long time trying to forget.
“I’d watch your back,” Mica said as he stepped beside me, his eyes following mine to Judy. “I saw Levi talking to her earlier. I think he’s trying to convince her to join his Elite force.”

Well, it seems that Ethan is NOT marked, because Irene was worried about is he ever found his fated mate, would they still be together. The question is: Why? Why isn't he marked but, Judy is?? Was that another sick way for Ethan to control Judy, by making her but not letting her mark him?? 🤔 Also, Is Matt & Irene's Mother the same person? Or do they have different Mothers? The reason I ask, is because in chapter 8, Gavin makes the comment that Matt doesn't speak to his Mom and won't fit a long time if he has anything to do with it, but in this chapter, Irene talks about her Mom has passed on....
I really like the plot and the relationship developing between Gavin and Judy, but I hate when a heroine keeps getting hurt over and over. You have this setup for her to be hurt by Lila, Gavin, her parents and Levi while I’m just wanting to get back to her dating Gavin and seeing him be nice to her. (There has got to be a proportionate amount of romance to go with the drama…but it looks like you have her not just seeing drama but being treated horribly again.)...
Lots of missing content and some areas of the book are unreadable due to typos. Otherwise its an incredible plot. Could use less of the same descriptions when it comes to the s*x scenes. I found it annoying that the main character Judy kept allowing her ex to grab her the way he did. She's training to be an Elite Gamma. She should be able to defend herself against that as*hole....
There is so much missing and many spot flipped...
Chapter 340 It seems that the author has not finished this story. She did this post about it last spring or summer....
Ch.-22. She needs to get a backbone. She should've screamed for her Mom when he was assaulting her and when he answered his phone with Irene on the phone, she should've screamed out "Ethan get out of my room, your engaged "!!...
Ch.17-I hope Gavin is secretly doing something to expose Ethan to Irene because if not, he's not looking like a very, good father to allow Ethan to date his daughter while knowing that Ethan's flat out lying and keeping stuff from Irene. Also, does Irene not know that he was mated before? I mean, Judy keeps mentioning that her mark on her neck is still there and will be until Ethan marks another. Does he not have a mark? If he does what did he tell Irene? Maybe I'll get my answers soon. So far I have enjoyed reading this novel....
This story is unreadable now that the screenshots won’t load...
these updates always have only half of the original chapters. Its quite frustrating coz I always have to go find the rest of the chapter on one of the reading apps. For instance, this chapter doesnt show the part at the end where "Tabby tells Judy that she always found Sammy weird during the competition, always disappearing for weird phonecalls, how she's in contact with all Gavin's enemies. How the 3 of them decided to investigate her and found tham Sammy's home life has wiped out on all platforms and had lied about a boyfriend that does not exist." Thats so much important parts of the book that we just miss out on...
