“Very kind of you,” I tell him with a chuckle. “So, how did you get Nan into bed?” I asked, taking a bite of the eggs.
He laughed.
“I don’t kiss and tell,” he teased.
I raised my brows because that’s literally all he ever does. He loves bragging about this kind of thing.
“Since when?”
“Since this one actually means something to me,” he told me. He leaned against the counter, his eyes softening as he got lost in his thoughts. “I wasn’t really expecting to sleep with her,” he finally admitted. Though I wasn’t sure if he was talking to me, or to himself. “It just kind of happened.”
“How did it just kind of happen?”
“Well, with you gone, Nan and I decided to have a movie night. We did a lot of talking before we watched the movie and we both agreed to take things slow. As the movie played, we started kissing and then one thing kind of led to another. Next thing I knew, I was carrying her into my bedroom and showing her a good time.”
I laughed at his wording.
“Such a romantic,” I teased, taking another bite of the food. “I hope you were careful.”
“She’s on the pill,” he assured me, which I already knew, but I hoped he wore a condom too because I know he’s been with a lot of women. “And I’m clean,” he said, as though he could read my mind.
“Are you sure about that?” I asked him, narrowing my eyes.
“Scouts honor,” he said, holding up his hand. “I get checked regularly. I would never put Nan at risk like that if I wasn’t sure.”
I nodded, satisfied with his answer as I continued to eat.
Not before long, Nan was returning to the kitchen wearing a white tank top that rested just above her pierced belly and a pair of tight shorts that were fairly long, resting just above her knees, but also tight enough that it showed off every single one of her curves.
Her hair was also damp from her quick shower and brushed out of her face. She had light makeup on her face, making her already bright features pop and she changed the piercing in her nose, so it went from blue to purple.
I always loved Nan’s style. Delta Patrick Carter didn’t let her wear her nose piercing while at work, so she had to take it out. But she always wore it when she went to school and on her days off.
“What did I miss?” She asked as she sat beside me, grabbing her fork and shoveling food into her mouth.

I get wanting to keep up appearances and make business partners happy, but Gavin needs to set boundaries with Rachel, and should have politely corrected her Luna remark, even if it’s “perhaps one day she will be Luna, but we just reunited after she faked her death, so I’d like to get to know this probably spy first.” And now that Gavin’s been drugged, is she going to get him to try to mark her? Or is she going to try to get pregnant with his baby so he’s guilted into marrying her for the baby? Ugh. So ready for things to look up for Judy and for Gavin to be kicked to the curb....
Now he needs Judy Knowing Rachel is a spy u are trusting her to stay in your house, allow her handle pack issues and even bring her to your business meeting, leaveq your drink to answer calls and now you expect Judy to come to your rescue after disappointing her...
This is getting so frustrating, I definitely think Judy should leave, I want to see her hook up with Lukas Merriweather and go to Micah’s pack, I feel there is no redemption arc for him now, also why hasn’t Irene said anything?! Like Nan and Chester told her so why hasn’t she said something. I feel Judy does need to stop getting lifts with Taylor, I also hate how Gavin is using Taylor to keep and eye and report. I hope she makes Gavin worry etc and tells him to do one. Honestly why would he play house and let a spy get involved. But I also noted that when Judy mentioned Rachel’s perfume…could it be a potion or something? Gavin is stupid he keeps saying how his wolf misses judy...

Gavin is a jerk! There’s no way he’s an Alpha and he behaves the way he does. Rachel is going to take him through the ringer… The only thing that may wake him up is that he’s going to find out from Alpha Mica (by way of Lukas) about Levi’s offer to Judy. That MAY wake him....
Rachel is obviously Levi's mistress. I think Judy's mark is already gone. The reason she passed out in the forest is because Ethen marked Sammy and the pain/release was intense. I can't read anymore. I thought after I got to 520 chapters I would have some satisfaction....
