As we pulled up to the mansion, I frowned when I saw an unfamiliar car parked out front.
“Were you expecting someone?” Irene asked, also noticing the car.
“No, I don’t think so,” I murmur as I take off my seatbelt and slide out of the car.
We walked to the front door and pushed it open; I immediately heard voices coming from the living room and something that sounded like laughter. I furrowed my brows and glanced behind me at Irene, who looked equally confused.
We made our way through the front foyer and towards the living room. Once we were through the door, I completely froze.
I wasn’t expecting to see the people sitting on the couch, and apparently neither did Irene because she sucked in a sharp breath.
“Tabby?” I asked, my tone filled with disbelief. To her side, I saw that both Chuck and Sherry were also seated on the couch.
My jaw was practically on the ground.
Sammy sat curled up on one of the love seats, a smile lighting up her face as she talked their ears off about her experiences here since she arrived.
Chuck and Sherry were only half listening.
“What are you doing here?” I asked as Tabby walked towards me and draped me in a tight hug.
I hugged her back without hesitation.
“We wanted to come visit you,” she told me. “I told you, Chuck, Sherry, and I are from the same pack, right? We weren’t very close growing up, but since the competition, we got closer, and we decided we missed you and wanted to see what the Silver Crescent pack was all about. So, here we are.”
“How long are you going to be staying for?” I asked, pulling myself out of her arms. “If I had known, I would have been here to greet you. I would have had the maids make up the guest rooms.”
“Already on it,” Sammy said with a bright smile. “Some of the other maids already got their rooms prepared. They are all settled in. They got here a couple of hours ago, so we had plenty of time for all of that.”
I was grateful to her for that, despite my dwindling trust.
Tabby had a plastered smile on her face as she looked at Sammy, something that piqued my interest.
“And I’m glad that you did. Thank you, Sammy,” Tabby said, her clutch on my arm tightening.
“You remember Irene, don’t you?” I asked, motioning for Irene to step further into the room. Her eyes were darting between Chuck and Sherry and then to me, with a slight blush on her cheeks.

Gavin may be the strongest alpha but he’s missing a few marbles lmao...
I get wanting to keep up appearances and make business partners happy, but Gavin needs to set boundaries with Rachel, and should have politely corrected her Luna remark, even if it’s “perhaps one day she will be Luna, but we just reunited after she faked her death, so I’d like to get to know this probably spy first.” And now that Gavin’s been drugged, is she going to get him to try to mark her? Or is she going to try to get pregnant with his baby so he’s guilted into marrying her for the baby? Ugh. So ready for things to look up for Judy and for Gavin to be kicked to the curb....
Now he needs Judy Knowing Rachel is a spy u are trusting her to stay in your house, allow her handle pack issues and even bring her to your business meeting, leaveq your drink to answer calls and now you expect Judy to come to your rescue after disappointing her...
This is getting so frustrating, I definitely think Judy should leave, I want to see her hook up with Lukas Merriweather and go to Micah’s pack, I feel there is no redemption arc for him now, also why hasn’t Irene said anything?! Like Nan and Chester told her so why hasn’t she said something. I feel Judy does need to stop getting lifts with Taylor, I also hate how Gavin is using Taylor to keep and eye and report. I hope she makes Gavin worry etc and tells him to do one. Honestly why would he play house and let a spy get involved. But I also noted that when Judy mentioned Rachel’s perfume…could it be a potion or something? Gavin is stupid he keeps saying how his wolf misses judy...

Gavin is a jerk! There’s no way he’s an Alpha and he behaves the way he does. Rachel is going to take him through the ringer… The only thing that may wake him up is that he’s going to find out from Alpha Mica (by way of Lukas) about Levi’s offer to Judy. That MAY wake him....
Rachel is obviously Levi's mistress. I think Judy's mark is already gone. The reason she passed out in the forest is because Ethen marked Sammy and the pain/release was intense. I can't read anymore. I thought after I got to 520 chapters I would have some satisfaction....
