Judy’s POV
What are you even doing here?
That was a loaded question, with many answers. I came for answers. I came to find out if my friend was a traitor. I came to find out if she was a spy and, if so, for whom she was working. I came to find out if she was sleeping with my ex-mate. I came to find out if I had been a fool in trusting her.
Something about the way she was eyeing me warily showed me that she knew exactly why I was there. She wrapped her arms around her body, desperate to hold herself together as she watched me. Neither of us said anything for what felt like a long time. I needed to know the truth, and I had no idea how to answer her questions that were bubbling at the tip of my tongue.
“Is it true?” I finally asked, meeting her eyes. “Are you working with Ethan to hurt me and my family?” That was a question I truly had; was she working with my ex-mate, after knowing everything he had put me through? Was she out to get my family and me just like Ethan was? The thought made me feel sick to my stomach, and I had to drop my eyes from hers before my emotions leaked through. I wasn’t great at keeping a poker face, and I knew she’d be able to see the defeat on my face almost right away.
I saw a flash of remorse on her face as she stared at the ground, shuffling in her spot awkwardly.
“It’s more complicated than that,” she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
“Complicated how?” I asked, stepping towards her. “Tell me the truth, Sammy.”
“You shouldn’t be here,” she finally stated after a beat of silence. “If Alpha Landry found out—”
“It would be me who got into trouble, not you,” I told her. “You have no control over who barges through that door, especially when you can’t even leave it.” I point at her ankle monitor. “You are a prisoner, Sammy. Just tell me why.”
I was desperate for answers, and I needed her to start spilling or I was going to lose my mind. She nibbled on her lower lip, tears welling in her eyes. I wasn’t sure if I trusted her tears or not… I wasn’t sure if they were crocodiles, and it worried me that my trust in her disappeared completely.
“My intention was never to hurt you…” she whispered.
“Then what were you trying to do?” I asked her, trying to meet her eyes, but she was going through great lengths to avoid my eyes. “Sammy, please. Answer my question. Why were you working with him?”
“My name is Sammy Churchill. The youngest daughter of Levi Churchill…” she whispered, her face glowing red. “I’m Alpha Levi’s daughter.”
“Did he send you here?” I asked.

The readers' comments on the novel: Seducing My Ex’s Father In Law
I really like the plot and the relationship developing between Gavin and Judy, but I hate when a heroine keeps getting hurt over and over. You have this setup for her to be hurt by Lila, Gavin, her parents and Levi while I’m just wanting to get back to her dating Gavin and seeing him be nice to her. (There has got to be a proportionate amount of romance to go with the drama…but it looks like you have her not just seeing drama but being treated horribly again.)...
Lots of missing content and some areas of the book are unreadable due to typos. Otherwise its an incredible plot. Could use less of the same descriptions when it comes to the s*x scenes. I found it annoying that the main character Judy kept allowing her ex to grab her the way he did. She's training to be an Elite Gamma. She should be able to defend herself against that as*hole....
There is so much missing and many spot flipped...
Chapter 340 It seems that the author has not finished this story. She did this post about it last spring or summer....
Ch.-22. She needs to get a backbone. She should've screamed for her Mom when he was assaulting her and when he answered his phone with Irene on the phone, she should've screamed out "Ethan get out of my room, your engaged "!!...
Ch.17-I hope Gavin is secretly doing something to expose Ethan to Irene because if not, he's not looking like a very, good father to allow Ethan to date his daughter while knowing that Ethan's flat out lying and keeping stuff from Irene. Also, does Irene not know that he was mated before? I mean, Judy keeps mentioning that her mark on her neck is still there and will be until Ethan marks another. Does he not have a mark? If he does what did he tell Irene? Maybe I'll get my answers soon. So far I have enjoyed reading this novel....
This story is unreadable now that the screenshots won’t load...
these updates always have only half of the original chapters. Its quite frustrating coz I always have to go find the rest of the chapter on one of the reading apps. For instance, this chapter doesnt show the part at the end where "Tabby tells Judy that she always found Sammy weird during the competition, always disappearing for weird phonecalls, how she's in contact with all Gavin's enemies. How the 3 of them decided to investigate her and found tham Sammy's home life has wiped out on all platforms and had lied about a boyfriend that does not exist." Thats so much important parts of the book that we just miss out on...
Anyone know why didn’t see the text on print? I can see just question mark. :(...
I have really enjoyed this book, looking forward to more chapters!...
