Gavin’s POV
The rest of the evening went by amazingly smoothly. Rachel was the real prize of the evening. The shareholders and businessmen were obsessed with her, and it wasn’t just because she was gorgeous, but because she had such great knowledge about literally everything. She brought up possible problems that she came across while listening to their propositions, and then she helped them come up with probable solutions that made everyone nod and stare at her in wonder.
She was also funny, having them laughing and ordering more drinks as the night progressed. Her witty jokes were perfectly timed, and the fact that she was pretty didn’t go unnoticed by the men who couldn’t seem to tear their eyes off her. Even those who weren’t at our table couldn’t help but look over at her.
She certainly had a charm about her that made men fall at her feet.
I would know because I used to be one of those men.
Since she pretty much told them that she was my Luna, I didn’t correct her, though every fiber of my being wanted to. But this business deal was important, and I knew right away that they were more drawn to her than they were to me.
Plus, there was no harm in them thinking we were a couple. She did come in on my arm, so I would have looked bad otherwise. As if I hired an escort for the evening or something.
Towards the end of dinner, and our conversation about the upcoming changes that will soon take place, we started talking numbers and how much each shareholder will need to give in order to make these plans a reality. I was surprised when Rachel pitched in with her own ideas and made adjustments to the revenue.
The men were equally impressed, if not more so.
“You have a keeper on your hands, Alpha Landry,” one of them said, his eyes never leaving Rachel.
“Gorgeous, charming, and good with business. What more can a man want?” Another said, a smile lighting up his face.
I glanced at Rachel and felt a sense of pride as she basked in the compliments. Bringing her along was a good decision.
My phone rang and I frowned as I fished it out of my pocket. Leroy’s name flashed across my screen. My brows furrowed as I stood to my feet.
“I have to take this,” I told them. “Excuse me.”
I stepped away from the table and B-lined towards the bathroom hallway where I could speak in private. It was strange that my driver was calling me in the middle of an important business meeting, which he drove us to.
“What is it?” I asked, cutting all casualties.

I get wanting to keep up appearances and make business partners happy, but Gavin needs to set boundaries with Rachel, and should have politely corrected her Luna remark, even if it’s “perhaps one day she will be Luna, but we just reunited after she faked her death, so I’d like to get to know this probably spy first.” And now that Gavin’s been drugged, is she going to get him to try to mark her? Or is she going to try to get pregnant with his baby so he’s guilted into marrying her for the baby? Ugh. So ready for things to look up for Judy and for Gavin to be kicked to the curb....
Now he needs Judy Knowing Rachel is a spy u are trusting her to stay in your house, allow her handle pack issues and even bring her to your business meeting, leaveq your drink to answer calls and now you expect Judy to come to your rescue after disappointing her...
This is getting so frustrating, I definitely think Judy should leave, I want to see her hook up with Lukas Merriweather and go to Micah’s pack, I feel there is no redemption arc for him now, also why hasn’t Irene said anything?! Like Nan and Chester told her so why hasn’t she said something. I feel Judy does need to stop getting lifts with Taylor, I also hate how Gavin is using Taylor to keep and eye and report. I hope she makes Gavin worry etc and tells him to do one. Honestly why would he play house and let a spy get involved. But I also noted that when Judy mentioned Rachel’s perfume…could it be a potion or something? Gavin is stupid he keeps saying how his wolf misses judy...

Gavin is a jerk! There’s no way he’s an Alpha and he behaves the way he does. Rachel is going to take him through the ringer… The only thing that may wake him up is that he’s going to find out from Alpha Mica (by way of Lukas) about Levi’s offer to Judy. That MAY wake him....
Rachel is obviously Levi's mistress. I think Judy's mark is already gone. The reason she passed out in the forest is because Ethen marked Sammy and the pain/release was intense. I can't read anymore. I thought after I got to 520 chapters I would have some satisfaction....

Gonna write my own little fan ending here: Gavin is protecting Judy and playing Rachel to get information. Judy's birth control failed and she's pregnant with Gavin's baby. Gavin ends up killing Ethan cause he tries to sneak back in a kidnap Judy. Once he dies the mark is gone and Judy and Gavin see each other as second chance mates and it was suppressed under Ethan's mark. Chuck and Irene are mates who fall in love with baby Emalyn and keep her and become the next alpha of the Redmoon pack. Judy and Gavin conspire together and beat Levi and his schemes. They get married and live happily ever after. The end....
I do believe Gavin is protecting Judy, however I think this story will drag on because once it’s revealed he was in fact protecting her it will take anthor 500 chapters for them to be together or not🤷🏽♀️...
