Lexi busied herself with the wedding preparation and she made sure to avoid Aziz at every chance she gets.

They hardly cross paths in the big house, having to be in charge of her mother's wedding was enough job on its own.

She didn't want to add her attraction to Aziz to the list, admitting to herself that she was attracted to him is enough.

"How is it coming along?” Her mother asked her, standing behind her and leaning over to look at her tablet.

“Stressful mom, I haven't planned such a big wedding ever in my life, yours will be the first."

“I'm so sorry dear, Balthas wants it that way.”

“It's okay, I'm glad you are finally getting the happiness you deserve; dad will be so proud that you finally let go of him.”

“And he would be proud of the beautiful woman his daughter had grown into.”

“I can't believe the wedding is tomorrow,” Lexi mused. “Everything was so fast.”

“I can't wait to go on my honeymoon,” Daphne cooed.

“Whatever you do is acceptable to me just make sure you don't come home pregnant,” she gagged. “I'm too old for a younger sibling.”

“What about you Aziz, do you want a younger brother?” Her heart skipped beats when she heard his name.

‘He is home at this hour?’ she thought.

“No,” his voice sounded strained like he was trying to keep himself together so he won't snap at Daphne.

“I think I need to go put some final touch to the preparation,” Lexi got up so quick, intending to run into her room and lock herself in.

“You have to help me dress up first, Balthas and I have a date to attend,” her mother pulled her to her room.

She dabbed an appropriate shade of makeup on her face and shoves her out of the house.

When she saw the coast is clear, she tiptoe to her room, not wanting to alert him to her presence.

She was on the last step when his voice stopped her.

“We need to talk,” her leg freezes above the beautiful stone.

She turns so quickly that she almost lost her footing.

“What do you want to talk about?" She lifts her chin to hide her nervousness.

Aziz bound up the stairs, he grabbed her arm and pulled her to his room and shut the door once they walked.

“Why did you close the door?”

“Why are you avoiding me?” He ignored her question.

“What do you mean?” She tried to laugh. “I am not avoiding you; I have only been busy with the wedding preparation, and I don't have enough time to spare.”

“Are you sure?” He asked, moving closer to her.

She tried to stand her ground, not wanting him to know how much he affects her.

“I am sure,” she folds her arm over her chest, the action caused her breast to push up and his eyes darted to it.

“Besides, why do I need to avoid you?"

“You are trying to fight your attraction for me,” he said as a matter of fact.

Lexi swallowed hard under his gaze and her next word came out as a stutter.

“I-I don't understand what you are talking about.”

“Why don't I show you then?” With one swift movement, he caught her close and dominated her lip.

She wanted to resist, heck! She should have resisted, but the part of her brain that is being controlled by her desire won.

Her hand went to the back of his head and she pushed her fingers into his hair to feel the texture as she kissed him back with the pent-up desire in her.
