Drake's POV

After practice, I couldn't help but laugh remembering the crazy night and morning I have had. For once in a while I was excited to go home.It actually took me by surprise that she didn't recognise me.I can finally be friends with someone who doesn't care about my status.How can a girl be weird, funny and crazy at the same time? Arya Almasi you are something you know.

"Why are you so happy bro?" Wayne my bestfriend squeezed my shoulder.

"What? I am just happy..." I looked away embarassingly.

"Who is she? Another one night stand I don't know about" He looked at me curiously.

"It's none of your business...." I replied dryly.

"Since when don't you tell me about your one night stands"

"See you tomorrow guys, practice is over." Coach Josh shouted and we all cheered before dispersing to the changing room.

"No, I have to know what's making you happy.It's been a while since I saw you smile.Since Cardi went to California one month ago, you have been gloomy..."

"I am just happy.No one night stand, no nothing...." I said in almost a loud whisper and walked past him to the changing rooms.I quickly took a warm shower and changed into a pair of blue skinny jeans and a white t-shirt.

"Hey Drake, don't feel like a hero just because you scored a one goal in the Olympics..." Matt shouted behind me.

I never understand why Matt doesn't want to move on from the past.Cardi chose me.He should put on his man pants and stop acting like a moody angry little girl.

I turned around to face him and faked a smile,"Matt just get over it. Cardi is my girl and the sooner you understand that, the better..."

"You stole her from me Drake, you bought her love with your stupid money and status." He cussed out.

"Matt, bought or not she is mine..." I winked at him and smiled evilly. He charged to where I was standing and pushing me back but I only staggered. He was ready to pounce on me but his bestfriend Adams held him back

"Matt you should stop being a chicken..."

"Drake one of these days, I am going to hit where it hurts..."

"I will be waiting Matt.But don't be too confident..." I saluted him and left the changing room.

I really miss my Cardi, the world seems so dull without her.All I have with me is her scent on my bed and t-shirts.We chat almost everyday but it's different when she is beside me. She has this way of making my life colourful and beautiful.Not only was she beautiful but smart and confident too.When I started courting her, I didn't know Matt also wanted her.I came to find out after we had gone for our vacation in Bahamas....I had already fallen in love with her and I couldn't imagine my life without her.I can't wait for her to come back, nothing feels the same.How can I be far away from someone that makes me feel complete.Wayne snapped his fingers on my face and dragged me back to reality.

"Lost in thoughts again?"

"I just miss Cardi.I wish she comes back soon..."
