They noticed how shocked and confused Alaric was. Alana said, "It's a long story. Let's have dinner, and I'll tell you about it later slowly."
In a trance, Alaric was about to walk away when he was stopped by Jamarion, "Do me a favor."
Alaric replied shortly, "What?"
Jamarion explained, "Keep it a secret for us temporarily."
Alana sneered, "Well, you know that you will be in trouble if my father knows about it? So, you want to hide it now?"
Jamarion held Alana's hand and shook his head, "We didn't intend to hide it. We want to tell Julian about it ourselves."
It was disrespectful of him if Julian heard about it from someone else.
Alaric snorted, "Let me give you a word."
Jamarion raised his eyebrows and heard Alaric say, "You are very brave."
Alaric admired Jamarion's courage to be with Alana, the noble and unapproachable girl. All her peers knew how much her father, Julian, loved and cared for her.
Jamarion laughed at his words and said with confidence, "It's my love for Alana that makes me brave."
He wasn't afraid of facing any challenges as long as he could be with Alana.
Alaric previously felt that their love relationship was unreal. But after hearing Jamarion's words and looking at the determination in his eyes, Alaric was aware that it was real.
He looked up at Jamarion with a serious look. 'Jamarion, who was three years younger than me, was now as tall as I am. He's young and intelligent with a high IQ, giving the impression that he's an upper-class elite, and his eyes are filled with calmness and confidence.'
Like Julian, Alaric used to think that no one in the world deserved his sister. But now he felt that Jamarion was a perfect match for his sister in every way, except for his younger age.
With this thought, Alaric gave him a thumbs up.
The three then entered the private room. The peers were surprised to see Alana and Jamarion enter hand in hand, except for Christina and Bella who knew their bet. But they were slightly surprised that they would begin a love relationship suddenly.
"You are..." Christina was surprised.
Jamarion responded, "I'm in love with Alana, and I'm sorry that we can't have dinner with you tonight because ..."
When saying, he glanced at Alana beside him, and then he held her hand tightly again and continued, "We are going to go to the Hughes' and tell Alana's parents about our relationship."
It was sincere of him to tell Julian instead of having Julian know it from someone else.
Although it was a welcome dinner for Jamarion, they wouldn't stop him since he had something more important to do.
"I'll make amends another day," Jamarion said and walked away with Alana.
The rest sat down after they had calmed down. Alaric was a bit distracted. He leaned back in his chair listlessly and said, "When did they start a love relationship?"
