Emelia didn’t want to face Julian ’s unaccountably angry look at all. Anyway, she had made it clear, so she didn’t stay any longer and turned to leave.

Julian pulled her back in anger and pressed her against the car indignantly. The distance between them was so close that they could smell the scent of each other, familiar and yet strange.

When they looked each other closely, Julian froze.
