Seven Days Seven Nights (Nicholas and Nancy) novel Chapter 173

Chapter 173 Arguments Arise Between Couples But Resolve In Bed

Nancy took a step back and replied, “It’s just a coincidence.”

“A coincidence?” Julian smirked coldly. “Do you expect me to believe that? You deliberately fell when I entered the room and even stared at me while I was drinking. Do you think all of this is just a coincidence? Do you take me for a fool?”

Hearing his words, Nancy was also taken aback. These were originally just coincidences, but through his interpretation, they had completely transformed into something else.

“You have misunderstood, Mr. Jadin. I never intended to get your attention,” Nancy insisted.

“I don’t believe you.” Julian looked at her with a sharp gaze.

Nancy waved her hand casually and said, “Well, if you don’t believe me, I won’t say anything more.” She knew that saying anything else would only make things worse.

At that moment, she lowered her head and found an opportunity to slip out from under Julian’s arm.

She left without hesitation, without even looking back.

Julian watched her leave and sneered. “You’re just playing hard to get. Unfortunately, I’m not falling for

it.”

After leaving Julian, Nancy headed towards the private room. She remembered it was the one on the left, so she pushed open the door on the left.

However, as the door swung open, she was momentarily stunned when she saw the people inside.

She had entered the wrong room! This private room was different from the one where her colleagues were. It was filled with people singing, playing games, and chatting. In any case, it was lively. Although. the room had dim lighting and was crowded, Nancy instantly spotted Nicholas. He was lounging lazily on the couch with his legs crossed. Despite his casual demeanor, he still looked noble and elegant.

Nancy noticed he was sitting in the center of the room. Clearly, he was the center of attention, surrounded by admirers like the stars orbiting the moon.

Upon seeing an unfamiliar and beautiful woman barge into the room, the entire room fell silent. Everyone’s gaze turned to Nancy.

Nancy raised her head and immediately spotted Nicholas. However, his eyes were cold, and he had at calm expression.

He was eerily calm.

Nancy lowered her gaze Her eyelashes hid the disappointment and sadness in her eyes

Since he has decided to pretend not to knowe me and treat me as a stranger, why should I say anything? Maybe! should just forget it. After all, we are already divorced, so strictly speaking, we are indeed strangers. Hence, he is doing the right thing I dont need to feel upset about it I must have just been surprised that he could be so rumpord

“I’m sorry. I entered the wrong room,” said Nancy. Then, she turned and was about to leave.

Just then, a voice sounded behind her. “We have strict rules here, sweetheart. You can’t just come and go as you please.” The man in the blue shirt who spoke walked over from the couch. Although he looked handsome, his words hinted at danger.

“I didn’t mean to barge in. I simply walked into the wrong room. My room is just across from yours.” Nancy explained.

However, the man wasn’t interested in explanations. He took a step forward and towered over her. “I don’t care about these explanations, sweetheart. I’m only interested in the result. You’ve walked into the wrong room, so you must agree to my request before you can leave. Otherwise, you will be stepping on. my dignity. I even have a VIP in my room today, and you’ve startled him. Hence, you must make amends and apologize before leaving.”

Hearing his words, Nancy raised her head, her gaze landing on Nicholas. She knew that the VIP the man was referring to was Nicholas. However, she didn’t ask for Nicholas’ help since he was already treating her as a stranger. Besides, Nicholas just watched as the man made things difficult for her. maintaining the same posture as before without any movement. Thus, she knew it would make not difference even if she begged him. All she would do was humiliate herself. After all, if he wanted to help her, he wouldn’t have stood by and watched this man bully her.

Lowering her gaze, Nancy asked, “What should I do?”

Jayden Philip smirked and snapped his fingers. “Bring it over.”

Soon, a glass of white wine was placed in front of Nancy. In that split second, Nancy’s heart skipped a beat. She knew that she would have no choice but to drink the wine before her. Although she was somewhat scared, she still reached out to take the glass.

Just as she was about to drink it, Jayden suddenly stopped her. “Wait.”

Nancy looked at him with confusion.

“This isn’t the only option, you know,” Jayden said abruptly.

“What else is there to choose from?”

“I mentioned earlier that you’ve disturbed my VIP. If you’re willing to kiss him or do something similar to gain his forgiveness, I can…” Forgive you.

Before he could even finish his words, Nancy refused him. “No. I choose to drink.” With that, she downed the entire glass of white wine without hesitation.

Looking at her actions, Nicholas shifted slightly. He wanted to stop her, but it was already too late. He didn’t expect her to choose to drink such a large glass of white wine instead of kissing him. At that moment, he felt it was quite ironic.

Do you really hate me that much, Nancy? Just the thought of this possibility made Nicholas heartbroken. He wondered when their relationship had turned so sour

After finishing the drank, Nancy felt her throat burn as it it were being roasted by fire It hurt badly. She also felt her stomach burning causing intense discomfort Her head felt incredibly heavy
