Seven Days Seven Nights (Nicholas and Nancy) novel Chapter 180

Chapter 180 Blissful Happiness (2)

“Nancy…” Nancy called out again, but the living room remained empty. There was no one there.

Unwilling to believe this, she then checked the bathroom, the balcony, and the kitchen, but the outcomes were the same: everywhere was empty, and there was no sign of Nicholas. Could it all have been just a dream? Now that I’ve woken up, it’s time for me to come to terms with reality.

In an instant, her heart sank, and her mood took a sharp downturn. I must have gone crazy to have such a vivid dream. She reached out and touched her lips. Last night, they had kissed several times, especially the final couple of times when Nicholas kissed her passionately, eagerly, and wildly. She even seemed to remember those tender sensations, his scorching breath, his attractive voice, and the low moans he gave when he was aroused. And yet, despite her vivid memories, everything was unreal after all.

“You’re hopeless, Nancy.” She pounded her forehead, feeling extremely frustrated. But why did that kiss not feel like a dream to me? It felt so real and so distinct.

Suddenly, she recalled something and rushed into the bathroom. She remembered that she had let Nicholas take a shower after she finished showering yesterday. If he had showered here, he must have left his clothes behind.

However, after searching the entire bathroom, she didn’t find any of his clothes. There are none of his clothes. So, he wasn’t here before, nor did he take a shower here. I was really delusional and had a dream that felt so

real.

Just as Nancy had lost hope and concluded that it was all a dream, the door suddenly opened with at click. The next moment, she saw Nicholas striding in wearing casual clothes.

The moment she saw him, she hurriedly ran toward him without a second thought and threw her arms around him. She ran so fast that she nearly knocked him over. It was only when she was holding him, leaning against his chest, listening to his breathing, and smelling his familiar scent that she finally believed everything before her was real. I wasn’t dreaming; it really wasn’t a dream! With this realization, immense joy filled her heart, like dazzling fireworks going off one after another. At this very moment, her world was incredibly beautiful.

“Where have you been? I thought you had left me again,” she mumbled. Only after her mind calmed down did she look up at him, her bright eyes blinking animatedly, which was particularly soul-stirring. The hurt look in her eyes and the note of grievance in her voice truly melted one’s heart. As she spoke, she tightened her arms around Nicholas as if afraid that he would leave.

“Silly girl, I was afraid that you’d wake up hungry, so I went to buy you breakfast,” Nicholas replied as he ruffled Nancy’s hair affectionately.

“But you didn’t tell me about it, making me think that it was a dream I had yesterday and that you never showed up here!” Nancy argued. The more she spoke, the more hurt she felt. She was really scared to death when she woke up without seeing or finding him just now.

Understanding how much he had scared the woman in his arms, Nicholas instantly apologized “Alright, I won’t defend myself. It’s my fault for not being thoughtful enough”

Then you’re not allowed to do this again next time, Nancy replied with a pour in an adorable yet

“Okay.” Nicholas nodded seriously. “I promise you that I won’t leave you all of a sudden without a word

next time.”

“Well, that’s more like it.” Only then did Nancy feel satisfied. Suddenly, she recalled something and added, “Also, no matter what happens in the future, you can’t leave me behind.”

“Okay.” Nicholas nodded.

Seeing him agree to it so readily, Nancy deliberately stomped her foot in displeasure. She said with a stern expression, “Nicholas Sallow, I mean it, and I’m serious about this. If you ever leave me behind. again in the future, I’ll never forgive you.”

“Alright, Ms. Nancy. I’m serious about this, too,” Nicholas responded. What should I do? I suddenly find the woman in my arms becoming talkative. And yet, even when she’s chatty, I find her so lovely that I want to kiss her. As he thought so, he acted accordingly, lowering his head and kissing Nancy on the lips to stop her from chattering continuously. Then, he deepened the kiss little by little.

Nancy was stunned at first before she was guided by the man to respond more naturally and skillfully. When their lips parted, her face was as red as a tomato, the color in her cheeks looking incredibly charming. “You…” Her breathing was unsteady, and she took a moment to catch her breath. After that, she asked, “You kissed me again?”

Nicholas smiled before leaning toward her again. After pecking her on the lips, he replied, “Silly girl, isn’t that what couples do? They’re always unable to control their desire to kiss and cling to each other.”

“But you…” Nancy pointed to his lips and then to her own. “You’ve kissed me so many times these past few days.”

“Is that a lot?” Nicholas asked deliberately. Then, he answered his own question. “I don’t think that’s a lot, though. Nancy, that’s what being a couple and being in love is about. Even if we kiss 30 or 50 times. a day, it wouldn’t be too much, let alone three to five times. Or do you think that’s too much?”

“N-No, I don’t think so,” Nancy mumbled, her face turning even redder. She didn’t admit it aloud, but deep down, she loved Nicholas’ kisses very, very much. It was just that she blushed every single time, whereas he could always remain calm and composed without blushing even once. Suddenly, she discovered something new-she noticed that while his face didn’t turn red, his ears did.

Looking at his reddened ears, she suddenly found them extremely cute. She reached out and touched. his cars like a little rabbit, looking as if she had discovered something extraordinary. She exclaimed in surprise, “Wow! Nicholas, your ears are really red. Are you shy right now?”

“No.” The man refused to admit it.
