Seven Days Seven Nights (Nicholas and Nancy) novel Chapter 33

Chapter 33 Wait for Me at Home

Just when her lips were about to kiss him, suddenly, Madelline fell from the wheelchair.

“I’ll be home tonight. Wait for me at home.”

Nicholas whispered into Nancy’s ear, then pushed her away and ran over to help Madelline. “Does it hurt? Are you injured?”

“My feet hurt.”

Madelline looked weak and crying.

Nicholas carried Madelline to the wheelchair, then squatted down and massaged her ankles.

Whara loving scenery!

No matter how big-hearted Nancy is, she still couldn’t bear to watch them.

Nancy turned around and walked on without looking at both of them.

Suddenly, someone pinched her wrist.

Nicholas rushed in front of Nancy like an arrow. “Did you hear what I just said?”

“What if I did? What if I didn’t?”

“Ok, I’ll repeat it. Wait for me obediently at home tonight.”

Nancy pushed his hand away and walked straight ahead.

Wait for him obediently? Why?

Nicholas, I am not your pet, so there is no need to obey you.

Why should I listen to you?

During those three nights, she waited for him on the sofa in the living room every day until her heart felt disappointed.

There was no sign of him for three days, not even a phone call.

Obedient?

Wasn’t she obedient enough in the past?

Today is Valentine’s Day. He can find another woman. Why can’t she find a young man?

Instead of going home, Nancy wanted to hang out.

“Watch her carefully.” Nicholas looked at Lynn and ordered seriously.

“Yes, Mr. Sallow.”

Lynn got his order and immediately ran up to follow Nancy.

Nicholas massaged Madelline’s feet and asked again. “Are you feeling better? Do you want to go to the hospital?”

“No need, Nicholas. You are so skillful. I feel much better, and it doesn’t hurt much anymore.”

“Yes.”

“Then, can we continue shopping now?” Madelline asked softly.

Hearing this, Nicholas immediately remembers the word “ring” that Nancy just mentioned,

Nicholas frowned and looked at Madelline seriously. “You shouldn’t lie to her about the gift. She will take it seriously.”

“You mean the ring?” Madelline asked.

“Yes.” Nicholas nodded. “You should know that before I officially divorce her, I will not make any promises to you or buy you a ring. I only promise you a piece of jewelry, which can be anything except a ring.”

After hearing Nicholas’ words, Madelline’s face instantly turned pale.

Madelline bit her lip and looked at Nicholas pitifully. “I have no other intention. I just thought we could take a look in advance since we are here today.”

“Madelline, don’t act harshly.”

Madelline nodded immediately. “Nicholas, I understand. Don’t worry, I won’t repeat this in the future.”

“As long as Nancy and I are not divorced, she is still my legal wife. Besides, you know her relationship with Grandpa. Even if we get divorced, I will not ignore her.

“You’re already divorced. Why do you still need to take care of her?” Madelline was a bit annoyed. Nancy was her ex-wife. Would Madelline have a bright future if they were still involved after the divorce?

“We’ll see.”

Lynn followed Nancy, only to find that Nancy had gone straight to the previous jewelry store.

“Show me the rings that Ms. Madelline and Mr. Sallow were looking at just now. I want to take a look,” Nancy said.

The shop attendant immediately took one out.

Nancy glanced and asked, “They only looked at this one? Nothing else?”

“Oh, no. They looked at three models.”

“Where are the other two? Bring them out. I want to see them.”

“Ok, wait a moment,” the shop attendant said with a smile.

Soon, all three rings were placed neatly in front of Nancy.

Nancy was startled at first glance. Madelline has a huge appetite. Those are ten-carat diamonds. The diamonds are so big and shiny. Why would Nicholas like such a gold-digger like Madelline?

After thinking about it, Nancy suddenly felt a bit sorry for Nicholas.

“Ok. I’ll take these three. Wrap them up for me, Nancy waved her hand.

“What?”

The shop attendant was shocked and looked at Nancy with wide eyes. “Miss, are you sure you want all three rings?”

“Yes, I want them all.” Nancy nodded seriously.

Then, Nancy looked at Lynn. “Use your boss’ credit card!”

At this moment, Lynn was so surprised he almost dropped his mouth. It took him a long time to come to his senses.

“Mrs. Sallow, are you sure you want all three rings?

“Yes!” Nancy blinked her beautiful eyes and said innocently.

“But, this…” Lynn started to stutter because he was too excited. “But… there are three of them!”

“Yes, I know. I can wear different rings to match different hair accessories and different clothes every two days, can’t I?”

“Ok, ok,” said Lynn. After that, he added bravely. “But the amount is quite big. I need to ask Mr.

Sallow first.”
