Seven Days Seven Nights (Nicholas and Nancy) novel Chapter 88

Chapter 88 Christian’s Regret

When Nancy was done talking, she turned and smiled at Christian.

Her smile was so gentle and beautiful in the moonlight. “Thank you very much tonight. I’m a bit tired. I’d like to go home and get some rest.”

“Okay.” Christian nodded.

After Nancy said goodbye to him, she walked through the gate alone.

Her petite figure was outlined in the moonlight, making her look really pretty.

Christian was still standing there, leaning on the car.

His tall figure appears to be graceful in the moonlight, setting off his noble and refined demeanor, making him stand out from the world, exceptionally gentle and warm.

He had no regrets in his life except for the death of his father.

But now he was filled with regret.

He regretted not meeting her sooner.

He regretted not meeting her at the right time.

At around ten o’clock in the evening, Madelline’s birthday party ended.

The birthday party was grand and luxurious.

The venue, food, the decorations, everything was perfect.

But this wasn’t the birthday she wanted.

She wanted to walk hand in hand with Nicholas through the crowd, gazing into each other’s eyes, looking at each other lovingly.

She wanted her relationship with Nicholas to be made public.

However, at this moment, it was all for nothing.

Everything was destroyed.

Nicholas did give her a birthday party, but it was nothing more than that.

A party without emotions and soul, like an empty shell.

After the birthday party was over, Madelline walked into the room and swept away all the cosmetics on the table.

“Why? Why is this happening?”

“Nancy, why? I was the first person to meet and fall in love with Nicholas. Why is it that in the end, you enjoy the benefits, and I am the mistress?”

Madelline was full of anger and jealousy.

Alice supported her, but she didn’t comfort Madelline. Instead, she provoked her.

“Madelline, you’re right. We’re in this situation because Nancy deceived us.”

“We must avenge this.”

After Madelline heard this, she immediately sat up and grabbed Alice’s hand. “We must unite. We won’t have a good life if she stays by Nicholas’ side.”

‘Madelline, don’t worry. I’m definitely on your side. In the future, feel free to tell me whenever you need me.”

“Okay.”

Both of them had their own plans in their mind.

Suddenly, the door was opened.

Madelline shouted angrily, “Wha

are you doing? You should knock on the door.”

Madelline had just finished speaking when she saw the person on the door. She was stunned for at moment, and then panicked.

“How arrogant of you, Madelline!” Sarah walked into the room.

She wore high-heeled shoes over ten centimeters tall, a purple suit, and a pair of oversized carrings. Her whole body radiated confidence.

Madelline would automatically lose her presence every time she saw her.

Because Sarah’s aura was so powerful, only a few women could rock this purple suit.

And she did it. She dressed so beautifully, looking domineering and fashionable.

Madelline’s aura became weak instantly. She said pitifully, “Sarah, I’m sorry. I didn’t know you’re coming

“Of course you didn’t know. You don’t have the dignity to let me inform you in advance.”

Sarah walked toward Madelline on ten centimeters long high heels.

The sound of high heels hitting the ground was clear and loud.

Especially the sound of thumping, as if it stepped on Madelline’s heart.

The closer Sarah walked, the faster her heartbeat.

Suddenly, Sarah reached out and lifted Madelline’s chin, looking at her with a contemptuous smile. “Madelline, did I warn you not to make trouble and destroy Nancy and Nicholas’ relationship?”

“Are you turning a deaf ear to what I said?”

Madelline shook her head pitifully. “No, Sarah.”

“No?” Sarah sneered. “Then tell me. Is this birthday party not organized by Nicholas? Or you always behaved, but my son was unruly and seduced you?”

Sarah…” Madelline cried, shaking her head.

Her tears flowed down.

Unfortunately, Sarah didn’t like her pretentious face at all.

“You don’t have to tell me you seduced him or whatever. Madelline, I know you very well. Listen, keep your distance from my son, or else I can’t promise what I’ll do to you.”

There was a loud thud just as Sarah finished her sentence.

“Sarah…” Madelline cried bitterly and knelt in front of her.

“Sarah, I don’t dare to tell lies in front of you. I really, truly love him. I want to be with him. We love each other. I beg you, please help us!”

“I’ll do to whatever you ask.”

Madelline cried so hard that people who knew nothing would think Sarah had beaten her.
