Seven Years of Marriage with Jake novel Chapter 25

Book 2- Chapter 16

On the afternoon of the third day, my lawyer Mr. Sinclair called to say that Ethan had agreed to the divorce. The assets in the shop had been evaluated, worth about 30,000 after liquidation.

Other assets had already been squandered by Ethan.

That gold-digging Mia, if Ethan didn't have a shop outside to put on airs, she wouldn't have come back to him in the first place.

Although some of this money might be recoverable, the battle would inevitably be prolonged, and I was already too lazy to entangle with him anymore.

My Lawyer Mr. Sinclair said that Ethan had one last request.

He wanted me to go back with him to see his parents and explain the divorce in person.

What's there to see? When have they ever given me a good look?
