I never thought I would see Ethan again.
I frowned at the man kneeling in front of me, crying and sniveling.
I don't know where he got the address of my flower shop, but now he was kneeling at the door, surrounded by a crowd of onlookers.
He cried bitterly: "Ava, I'm sorry, I've wronged you!"
"Get lost!" I had no desire to say more to him.
But Ethan kept kneeling and apologizing.
"Ethan, what are you trying to do?!"
"Ava, I'm sick. Can you lend me some money? I really have no other choice. You're the only person I can turn to for help now."
"What makes you think I would lend you money?! Where's your Mia?"
