Chapter Seventy

"Tell me! Why the hell did you do it? You knew I was standing outside the door that day. You destroyed my life, you snatched Mushk from me knowing very well what I'll do." Zohan screams at her.

Knowing there was no chance to lie as Zohan figured out everything, she jerks his hand away.

"Don't blame me for what you did to Mushk, it was your own choice. I might hate you, but I never wanted to destroy Mushk’s life. She came in between and got stuck, nothing else. You disgust me! How can you do that to the women you love?" She calmly tells him.

Zohan knew what she said was true and he stood there motionlessly. The woman whom he called his mother whole life, was the one who destroyed him.

"Why?.." His dad painfully whispers, looking towards his wife.

"Why? You ask me why? You never ever loved me, you always loved his mother. Then you went as far as naming all the property on his name. What about me and my daughter? Ever thought about us?" She yells at him.

"She is my daughter too! Just wait, once she comes to know about what you did, you'll have no one left." He angrily roars.

Mr Quadri sadly looks towards his son, whose eyes were full of remorse and tears, he hurt his own love just because of one small misunderstanding.
