Stephen hung up, and placed the phone on the table.

"Let's see how you can continue being with that bastard, Quinn." He smirked and waited for the drama to unfold.

Emelda's school.

The school was quite noisy, as it was closing time already. Different cars were parked at the entrance.

A security guard stood at the entrance. Before each parent could pick his or her child, they had to confirm if the child was truly theirs.

And so, everything went on. The bustle continued.

There were also children waiting for their parents to come and pick them.

Among these children was Emelda.

She frowned when after few hours, her driver was no where to be seen. She was puzzled. He was never late like this...

So, what could be keeping him?

"Hey Emelda, see you tomorrow." Her friend, Ashely waved at her as her mother clutched her hands and led her towards their car.

"See you Ashely." She muttered beneath her breath.

Soon, a black limousine pulled up at the entrance of the school. The guard waited for whoever it was to approach him.

He wasn't awed by the splendor or plushness of the car. After all, he was used to it. The school only accommodated rich kids. So how could he be awed by a normal limousine?

A driver got out of the car and approached him.

Emelda finally sighed in relief when she spotted him,

'Finally.'

The guard was familiar with him,

"You are late today." He smiled at the driver.

"Traffic." The driver responded simply.

"Come on Emelda, let's go." He beckoned at her.

He clutched her hand.

Emelda had always been sensitive and smart. She noticed that his hands were shaking and his palms were sweaty.

"Uncle, are you alright?" She asked.

"Yes... It's the sunlight." The driver nodded hurriedly.

The car was opened by a bodyguard, and Emelda frowned in confusion.

"Uncle, I don't know this person." She said looking at them critically.

"They are our new bodyguards." The driver lied.

"Okay." Emelda decided to shut up and observe.

The Stones were always strict with her security. So, three bodyguards always accompanied them.

She got into the car obediently, and her confusion mounted when she saw two other suspicious people.

They were clad in black. However, that was what made her suspicious.

She had always hated black, and so she told her grandfather to allow her bodyguards dress in grey instead.

In fact her bodyguards always dressed in grey suits!

She decided to keep quiet and observe..

The driver started the ignition, and began driving...

As they got to a corner, she heard the one by her left say,

"You know what to do."

And to her surprise, the driver braked hard.

"Please... don't hurt my family. I've done what you asked." The driver pleaded.

That was when it dawned on Emelda. Although she was still a kid, but she wasn't a fool. She could understand what was going on.

She had been kidnapped!
