“You look frightened,” Zane commented as he held my hand and walked me through the hallways. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t scared at all. There was just this fear in my heart about my identity that I couldn’t stop worrying about. After what happened and how they shunned their stepsister, I could expect the worst treatment for myself.
