The clamor of the banquet hall behind her couldn't make Lizetta turn around. All of it had nothing to with her.

"Lizetta, stop right there! You embarrassment, explain yourself now!"

However, as Hanna's furious voice echoed, Lizetta found her path blocked. She frowned, her expression icy.

"Move! The one missing the wedding is your son, not me!"

Lizetta tried to bypass Hanna, but Hanna grabbed her, uttering in exasperation, "Don’t bring Remington into this. If you hadn’t been so shameless, marrying Remi but pining for his brother, why else would Remington skip his own wedding day!"

Lizetta was stunned, unable to comprehend Hanna’s accusations.

Yolanda was fuming too. She stepped forward, pulling Hanna's hand away, and shielded Lizetta, saying, "Listen, lady, the guests are still here. Save yourself some dignity, will you? No need to act like a fishwife."

Hanna swung a slap at Yolanda. But the latter dodged swiftly, pulling Lizetta back with her.

"Playing the innocent, huh? Your dirty laundry’s out for everyone to see. You need to clear up this diary mess today! Is it yours? The Dashiell family can’t afford this scandal. You go in there and deny it, explain!"

Hanna said, moving to drag Lizetta back into the banquet hall.
