Lizetta gave her a fleeting look, choosing not to reply.

Feeling slightly uneasy, Lilian wrinkled her forehead. "I heard she's also the eldest daughter of the West family. They're a big deal here in Zion City, ranking high in social circles. Please don't stir up trouble and drag me into it."

Lizetta just smiled at her. "Don't worry, you dashed off so quickly, she probably didn't even catch your face."

The sarcasm wasn't lost on Lilian, and her expression turned awkward. "I really can't afford to offend Ms. West."
