She Accepted Divorce He Panicked (Scarlett and Sebastian) novel Chapter 250

The fateful night five years ago, Sebastian almost lost the two people he cared about the most. His wife, and his unborn baby that he didn’t even know existed. He spent all the time he could spare after taking care of the baby and Scar on tracking the person who broke in, and he knew as much as the police if not more. That’s why the policeman didn’t arrest Ava --

It wasn’t her.

Ava didn’t cut her wrist when she was taken to the hospital. She did sneak out of her room and back in through her window. All of that was true. Scar accused Ava of being in the house, and provided detailed evidence about when she heard noises in the house and what happened after that, and the police did look in that direction. It was actually easy to find out how that person broke into the house without triggering the security system--

Ava’s fingerprint was used as the last guest, exactly at the time when the break-in happened.

But it was exactly Scar’s testimony that proved Ava’s innocence--

Ava was captured by the hospital’s security camera more than half an hour earlier than the time when her fingerprint was used to enter the house. There was simply no time for Ava to be in the house, chase Scar with another accomplice, push her off the stairs cut her wrist, and still make back to be captured by the hospital’s camera.

In fact, the time when Sebastian broke into Ava’s hospital ward and saw Ava with his own eyes, was actually around the same time Scar fell off the stairs.

He didn’t want to tell Scar that it was her testimony that freed Ava, and he tried his best to pin Ava down for the crime. In the end with all the evidence piled up together, he had to admit that Ava didn’t do it.

Someone else used Ava’s fingerprint.

It doesn’t change the fact that Ava lured Scar to attack her, and put Scar behind bars with that; nor does it change Ava’s lie, or the fact that this mysterious person was able to do it only because he trusted Ava with access to their house.

He wanted to punish Ava by returning everything she did to Scar. He even thought about letting Scar do whatever she could to Ava if that helps Scar. But his plan doesn’t involve Silco.

The mysterious man complicates everything.

“You want to hurt me? Then deal with me. Let me be your partner in your revenge,” Sebastian closes his eyes, burying the tornado of pain deep into his soul and gazing at her with only calming gazes, “I’ll hand you my everything, and I’ll let you use my hand however you want. Anything Silco can offer, I can, too.”

“You can barely survive from his snipe on your own!” Scar laughs with despise, nodding at the card, “Who do you think that card is from?”
