Chapter 186 Secrets
Kaylah’s meaning was so obvious that Hendry was a little embarrassed.
Kaylah didn’t care whether Hendry was embarrassed or not, so she turned to talk to Aryan and the
rest.
Hendry looked at Kaylah with a gloomy face.
Chad came over. “Mr. Lowery, why don’t we go back now?”
Hendry came back to his senses and thought that there was no point in staying any longer. In the end, he followed Chad and left.
Chad heaved a sigh of relief and hurriedly sent Hendry to the hospital.
After Hendry left, Zion frowned and glared at Kaylah. “Why are you still so soft–hearted?”
Kaylah pretended not to understand. “How am I soft–hearted?”
“Just now, you were in such a hurry to chase Hendry away. It was not that you didn’t want to get along with him. It was because you saw that he didn’t feel well, so you deliberately urged him to leave, right?” Zion lowered his voice with a cold expression. “You can’t forget him, can you?”
Kaylah didn’t answer immediately.
Was that what she thought just now?
She thought that she chased Hendry away because she hated the latter.
So she continued to pretend to be innocent. “You’re wrong. That was not my meaning.
“Not long ago, I spoke to him. He apologized to me, but I scolded him.”
Zion quickly caught onto the main point. “He apologized to you? Since when did you two still have
connections?”
Zion thought that his sister had divorced Hendry. But he didn’t expect them to have more connections. He wondered if his sister had regretted the divorce.
He respected Kaylah’s choice last time. This time, no matter what, he wouldn’t let his sister leave. If Hendry wanted to snatch his sister away from him, he would do anything to stop Hendry.
After being questioned by Zion, Kaylah was at a loss for words.
She didn’t expect Zion to be so sensitive and ask so much in detail. She didn’t know what Zion
wanted to do.
