Celeste instinctively reached out and rolled up the cars

After a brief hesitation, she finally spoke up. “Joshua, is there something urgent abour Mr. Wrenford needing to contact Shelley?” 

Joshua was momentarily stunned. “Ms. Morin, you low Shelley?” 

Celeste had anticipated this question and was already prepared with a response. “I’ve heard of her. She’s involved in the emerald crafting industry, particularly skilled at repairing emeralds. But I don’t know her personally.” 

“Ah, 1 see! It seems like Shelley’s reputation is quite widespread if you’ve heard of her. I don’t know her well either, but Mr. Wrenford had a valuable emerald piece that was damaged. Several emerald experts couldn’t fix it properly, and they recommended Shelley as someone who might be able to handle it. 

Apparently, she’s highly skilled in repairs, so I asked around and, through a contact, managed to get her phone number a few days ago.” 

“Where did you get the number from?” 

It was from one of our clients, who claimed to know Shelley. He gave me the number,” 

Celeste nodded thoughtfully. So that was how he got her other phone number. 

“Ms. Moran, why are you asking about this all of a sudden? Do you have something that needs repair?” 

“No. It’s just that a friend of mine broke something, and she needs it repaired. But a regular repair specialist can handle it.” 

“If you ever need help, feel free to contact ine.‘

Celeste looked up and met Joshua’s cheerful gaze in the rearview mirror. 

For a brief moment, she was caught off guard. But she quickly realized that she didn’t need his help 

When Celeste arrived home, she found that Annie had already dressed Eloise and had her backpack ready. 

Not wanting to waste any time, Celeste grabbed Eloise’s hand and headed out the door, hailing a cab to take her to school. 

Upon arriving at the school, they happened to walk right into Lucian’s graduation ceremony. 

Celeste merely glanced at the playground before quickly averting her gaze. 

Many students and parents were already there, taking pictures. It was no surprise that the “family of three” was likely among them. 

“Ms. Morin, what are they doing?” Eloise, clearly intrigued, stopped and stared at the scene, suddenly unable to move. 

“They’re having a graduation ceremony. When you finish elementary school, you’ll have your own graduation ceremony, and you can take pictures with your classmates. I’ll be there to celebrate that moment with you,” Celeste explained, crouching down to Eloise’s eye level. Celeste’s smile was warm, and her expression adiated Wam
