Chapter 32 Diana on a Date
“I didn’t do it,” she continued to deny.
Just then, Steven walked over.
Queenie instantly saw hope. Steven
wouldn’t just stand by and let this happen to her.
“Steven, I really didn’t do anything

wrong. Please help me, I’m scared,” she said, looking fragile and on the verge of collapse.
Steven’s deep gaze met Cecil’s. “Mr. Farley, Queenie didn’t do anything

wrong. If you could let her go, I will give you Skyline Project.”
Cecil looked at Steven. This man was

probably in cahoots with Queenie, all for
the sake of cooperating with the Farley family.
“Fine. Steven, Queenie–if it turns out
that Grandma’s bodyguard’s accident has anything to do with either of you, I’ll make sure you wish you were dead.”
Cecil turned to Rita. “I’ll take you home to
rest.”
Rita’s sharp gaze fell on Queenie. “Queenie, I may not have solid evidence, but you were caught on camera

throwing something into the pool after you split up with Steven. Next time, you won’t be so lucky.”

Then she turned to her grandson. “Cecil, Diana is an excellent and kind person. You should spend more time with her. I
only spent an hour with her, and I can
already tell she’s genuine and down to
earth.”
Cecil recalled how skillful she was and felt a bit envious. He smiled slightly. “Ow. it hurts.”
Diana really hadn’t held back.
Rita looked at him with concern. “Is your、
hand okay?”

Cecil shook his hand. “I’m fine. It just
hurts a bit.”

Steven frowned. Diana knew how to
treat injuries?
Then, what about his eyes back then?
Steven pushed the thought away. No, it couldn’t be. Helen was the one who found the doctor.
But what about her bone–setting skills?
Steven felt a deep sense of frustration. He looked at Queenie and said, “You should go home and rest. I have
something to do.”

Queenie quickly grabbed his hand, looking pitifully at him. “Steven, aren’t you going to stay with me? I’m feeling really down right now.”

Steven, feeling frustrated, walked away without responding to Queenie.
He thought about what Rita had said. After entering the banquet hall that day, Queenie had left for a short while but quickly returned.
In his eyes, Queenie was gentle and kind; she wouldn’t do such a thing. It was probably Diana badmouthing Queenie in front of the old lady again.
Chapter 32 Diana on a Date Thinking this way made him feel a little
better. Diana had too many malicious
things.

His mind flashed back to what Diana
had said earlier by the elevator–it was Queenie setting her up. How could that be? He had witnessed multiple times with his own eyes.
Queenie watched Steven’s retreating figure and cried angrily. Steven had never left her like this before.
Paula supported her and said, “Let’s go, Queenie, let’s go home.”
Queenie nodded in grievance, “Okay!”
