Diana pointed to the refrigerator and asked, “Is there anything else you want to cal?” 

Steven saw the lobster and said, “I’d like some lobster.” 

Diana nodded. “Okay.” 

The chef had prepared the lobster and saved it for Diana as 

supper. 

Diana pointed to the electric steamer and said, “Plug it in and put the lobster in the steamer.”

It had been nearly a year since Diana left, and Steven rarely came into the kitchen.
