“What are you doing here?” she asked after a brief pause.
“Hi, Bad Woman!” Winnie greeted her with a smile.
This fool is still smiling after everything that has happened?
Feeling angry yet jealous, she walked up to Winnie and fumed, “How could you smile when Xavier is still missing? He went out to the sea late at night with an injured leg because of you! This is all your fault! He’s dead because of you!”
You b*tch… I would’ve slapped you into your next life if I didn’t have to keep this act up! You and Zyon were the ones who caused Xavier’s accident at sea! How are you able to claim the moral high ground after doing something so heinous? Does your shamelessness know no bounds?
Winnie clenched her fist behind her back as she suppressed her boiling anger.
Yulissa’s yelling soon drew the attention of those inside the ward, and Josiah was the first to come running out.
Winnie quickly hid herself behind him as she cried with reddened eyes, “Uwaaahhh! Bad Specky, this bad woman said I got Handsome killed! I didn’t do it! I really didn’t!”
A frown formed on Josiah’s face as he looked at the way Winnie grabbed onto his sleeves. He then turned to glare at Yulissa.
“Stop this nonsense, Yulissa!”
“Nonsense? You know what happened the night Xavier went out to sea! He left without even telling us, and it’s all because of her! How is this nonsense? Also, why are you siding with this dumb*ss too?” Yulissa exclaimed in confusion.
Taking a step toward Yulissa, he questioned, “Who pushed Dumbo down the hill, then? Come on, don’t act like you don’t know that!”
“It was Kylie who pushed her! She has already confessed to it, so what are you going on about? I thought Xavier was the only one this dumb*ss seduced, but it looks like she has you wrapped around her finger too, Josiah!” Yulissa snapped back at him.
There’s no way I’d admit to pushing that dumb*ss down the hill!
Just then, Benjamin stepped out of the ward as well. “Ms. White!”
After shooting Winnie a glance, he glared sternly at Yulissa and asked, “What was it you said? Why did Xavier head out to sea late at night?”
Feeling relieved that she had found someone to back her up, Yulissa pointed at Winnie, shouting, “It’s all because of her! He was so desperate to find her that he ignored his injuries and went out to sea late at night! That’s how he ended up having an accident!”
Benjamin turned toward Louis and asked with a frown, “Is this true?”
Louis stole a glance at Winnie, who was standing behind Josiah, and saw her nodding slightly at him.
Having received her instruction, Louis gave Benjamin a firm answer. “Yes, Mr. Fairchild. That was indeed what happened.”
“Heh… Way to go, Xavier… Way to f*cking go!”
I’ve warned Xavier about that dumb*ss, but he ignored my warning and risked his life for her anyway!
Benjamin got so mad that he swung at the lamp next to him, knocking it over on the spot.
