The moment the door was pushed open, Winnie saw Xavier flipping through a magazine on the couch.

He was wearing a set of casual wear and flipping through a magazine in bed. He looked like he didn’t have a care in the world. Now, he looks exactly like that. The sound of Winnie opening the door had attracted Xavier’s attention.

He retracted his gaze from the magazine and looked toward Winnie.

“What is it? Are you so happy that you can’t utter a word in response?” With that, Xavier grabbed Christopher by his neck and pinned him against the wall.

Xavier and Christopher were about the same height, so Xavier was looking at him at eye level.
