The location of the bar was a bit out of the way, and there was a deserted construction site nearby.

After driving for less than fifty meters, Winnie suddenly heard a loud bang coming from the back of her car because someone had knocked her from behind.

“Drive!” Winnie roared. “Otherwise, we’re both going to die. I’m not joking!”

As soon as Winnie finished her sentence, a man was heard ordering the driver, “Drive.”

Upon hearing that, the driver started the car.

Only then did Winnie realize that there was another man seated in the backseat of the car.

Wait… That voice is so familiar! It’s Xavier! What kind of sh*tty luck is this? How did I end up in his car when I’m making an escape? No wonder I found that man puking by the side of the road rather familiar! It was Josiah!

At that moment, she could feel the murderous intent Xavier was exuding.
